Picturing the OrganizationMapping as a Tool for Organizational Success
Purpose
The purpose of this training is to help YOU, the student leader, map out your role in the successful implementation of the values, vision, and mission of this office.
Food for thought
Organizations are like kids, it’s all about development. If you give them good, strong values, a clear vision of the future, and the view that everything is possible, they will grow up to be like that…-Henrietta Zalkind, Down East Partnership for Children
Office+
A social unit of people, systematically structured and managed to meet a need or to pursue collective goals on a continuing basis. All organizations have a management structure that determines relationships between functions and positions, and subdivides roles, responsibility, and authority to carry out defined tasks. Organizations are open systems in that they affect and are affected by the environment beyond their boundaries.- Businessdictionary.com
