ProblemAnyone who's ever camped in a hammock understands the difficulty of positioning coverlets, and a pillow within the stifling sides of the hammock. And, let’s face it, hammocks aren’t really that comfortable when your back is bent into the shape of a banana.

Also, setting up a bug net over your hammock can be extremely difficult.

All of which will keep you up for hours when what you really need most is sleep.

A no fulcrum stability system. Instead of coming to a point before wrapping around a tree trunk like most traditional hammocks, 123Hammock uses a connector to tighten the two ropes around the tree trunk while maintaining stability. Although not shown here, the connector will be a piece of wood with both ropes threaded through (sort of like on a rope ladder with wood slats.)

Solution123 hammock aims to revolutionize the hammock industry by providing a hammock that has easily attachable parts.

In its greatest simplified state, it is a day pack. This day pack will be comfortable on your pack while being able to easily take it apart and enjoy your earned hike in the wilderness.

It will have pockets on the sides and will be perfect for the camping experience. In addition we will have a detachable bug net, sleeping bag, and tree straps. While these additions are not in use you are able to put them in the pockets that will roll up into a simple day pack.

Pillow for comfort. When compressed, the space inside also fits the main body of the hammock. It can also be used for a place to store items.

What Sets Our Product ApartThere are already a lot of hammocks on the market. Some even have detachable rain fly and bug nets, and can roll up. What sets our hammock apart, though, is its unique hanging up design. Instead of coming to a focal point before wrapping around a tree or other post.

It wraps fully around the tree and is held on by a connecting piece between the two ropes. The tension keeps the hammock from sliding down the tree, and the lack of a fulcrum keeps the hammock stable and allows it to lie fairly flat as opposed to being bent like a banana.

CustomersBecause this product is meant to be outdoors, we will market and sell to outdoorsmen. This is because we know, as fellow outdoorsmen, that it is a major struggle to get to bed in a hammock. We want everyone who uses hammocks to sleep in comfort because sleep is a necessary human need and, when in the outdoors, it’s important to be rested for a full day of adventure.
