Nox Coven calls for witching black metal for invoking primal times and ritualistic chaos. In 2017 they have a new EP called De las sombras misterios ocultos, which translated could mean “From the shadows occult mysteries” or a similar spirit of the words, depending on the Spanish original meanings. On Bandcamp there is an older live recording from 2016 and it is called Live at Bubar's and it is a raw manifestation of necro metal. Another medium for Nox Coven is YouTube where they have material, too, including rehearsal footage. As you can see from the song titles below, witches, rituals and black magic are part and parcel of Nox Coven’s identity. Raw black metal enthusiasts should find something to raise their horns and bang their heads here. 1.Intro 00:42 2.Noche de Walpurgis 04:30 3.Blackmoon 04:44 4.De las sombras misterios ocultos 05:02 5.Quintaesencia 04:30 6.Spirits of the Night 04:30 total time: 23:58 noxcoven.bandcamp.com/releases facebook.com/noxcovenbanda/

Wrust (Botswana) It seemed that the death metal veterans had thrown in the towel, but that wasn’t the case, according to the band. They say that they were on hiatus. It’s been years since 2013’s studio album Intellectual Metamorphosis. If you have never heard the band, said album is available in its entirety at Bandcamp. The band has announced that it is returning to the stage and we’ll see what happens after that. Below is some information about the band.

The following official information appears that it is not updated for the latest developments, but it is still useful as an introduction to the band. OFFICIAL: Wrust is a four-piece heavy metal band hailing from Gaborone, Botswana, a small country in Southern Africa. Formed by front man Stux Daemon at the turn of the millennium, Wrust has become one of Southern Africa’s most prominent metal bands, with over a decade of album releases and tours both within and outside Africa. The band has headlined many prominent music festivals from the likes of WITCHFEST EXTREME 2003 (Jhb), Woodstock 2008 (Gaborone), The Windhoek Metal Fest 2009 (Namibia), Solomacello 2013 (Milan) and the annual charity event, Rock Against Aids. They have also shared the stage with many renowned metal bands, including Sepultura (Brazil), Carcass (UK), KONKHRA (Denmark) and

Entombed (Sweden). Through their music, Wrust hope to inspire people to become independent minded and free-willed, breaking the shackles of stereotypes and challenging cultural institutions from governments to religion, all the while delivering fast paced performances and sheer brutal metal! 2013 has seen Wrust return from a tour of Milan, Italy whilst working on a documentary filmed based on metal music, March of the Gods, due for release in August 2014. In April the band released a digital copy of their latest 13-track album, Intellectual Metamorphisis, which questions the system of control that we as a society believe in. members: Stux Daemon – guitars and vocals Lawd Master – drums Oppy Gae – bass guitar Ben Phaks – guitars discography: Too Deep (2001)- 5 track EP Mirth of Sorrow (2003) Soulless Machine (2007) Unleashed DVD (2009)- released only in Botswana Intellectual Metamorphosis (2013)-digital release wrust.bandcamp.com www.facebook.com/wrustmetal ** Zafakon (Puerto Rico) Zafakon returns to Everett, Washington state on the 27th of June at Tony V's. In 2015/2016 this band from Puerto Rico, along with fellow Puerto Rican thrashers Calamity, toured the United States, including the state of Washington. They played in Everett on January 2nd, 2016.

Zafakon is a thrash/groove band with growling and on the night of January 2nd they put on a good show appreciated by the headbangers present (they played a different venue in Everett, not Tony V's). They had been traveling a lot throughout the United States, and once they were on stage, the energy kicked in and they performed in a professional way. In a live setting, Zafakon is a headbanging, thrashing band and they have a serious work ethic on the stage. They have some chugging parts, some thrashing riffs, but they also have melodies and memorable parts that work well for the songs. Listen to their music at the first link below. The fateful alliance of longtime vocalist Blasfemia and composer HellRazor is turning out to be a great combination of skill and understanding of how Lucifera music should be. Fortunately, the album shows that they are able to make their vision come to life. The recording sounds good and professional for the genre of raw black thrash and black metal, and songs that hit the ground running. The memorable riffs, and we're talking about major headbanging riffs here, and the possessed vocals make for an irresistible work for the audiences that want black thrash, black metal and raw thrash metal. The music has some melodies in places that they have carefully selected, and the drumming, which is also a highlight of the album, goes from thrash speeds to blasting speeds in some segments for maximum headbanging action. The blasphemous lyrics are in the Spanish language interpreted through the voice of the black metal witching spirit, and the music is in the universal language of heavy metal. If this is a style of

metal that you live for, then you will find this album a most pleasing experience. Hear the complete work at the first link below.

OFFICIAL: Morbid Skull Records presents the latest release of the black/thrash metal sensation LUCIFERA from Colombia. With a sound firmly rooted in the old school style, they whip up a storm and deliver a dozen extremely potent and acerbic tracks. Alejandra Blasfemia's vocals are veritably hateful and vile, and coupled with the fact that they're delivered in a native language exacerbates things greatly. Given the nature and tone of the primitive music, they go very well with it and sound like fierce incantations belonging to an ancient black art ritual. 'Preludio Del Mal' is scathing yet laden with catchy riffing and exudes a fantastic vibe throughout. LUCIFERA are a revelation indeed and anyone who can appreciate vicious old school black/thrash metal will find a new favourite in this one. Back in 2013 they did a demo, but they have a more recent recording called Into the Void. It is a free recording at Bandcamp. They have recorded a serious album of honest thrash. The music is relatively raw because this is meant to sound like real music played by people, not computers. The band prefers to call themselves metalpunks and the music is thrash with semi-growled and crust vocals and songs for headbanging. Listen to the complete album and download it at the first link below. free metal music: Demon Hammer Demon Hammer is black thrash from California, U.S. This EP is a very good indication of the band’s style: emphasis on thrashy riffs and black metal vocals. The recording quality sounds good and appropriate for the genre. The quality of the band looks good and the EP is a reason for black thrash fanatics to search this band. If a thrasher looks at the song list below, you might notice the title of the fifth song and you’d be right. It is a cover taken from Destruction’s 1985 album Infernal Overkill. It’s a good cover, of course. The cover also shows you where the heart of these Californians is. They have it in the right place.
