It will be kept for public inspection.Study the plan given below and follow it accurately.If you have not a Classification Register in yourSchool let tne Inow at znce; also inform the Presidentof your School Board or your Director.The Register can be obtained at the County Super-intendent's offce.Please endeavor to have a Register provided foryour school at once, so that all the schools may be);l25si6ed before the end of the term.

    How to Cilassify Your School in the Classifica-tion Register.1st. Read the course of study carefully; noticethe number of grades and the work that each gradeincludes.- 2d. Ascertain in which grade of the Course eachpupil has most of. his work, and classify him in thatgrade. If he has not all of his studies in this grade,mark the grade in which such other studies are found,under the headings for these respective srudies.(See sample form in Register. )3d. When a pupil has completed a study andpassed a satisfactory examination, credit him with itin the column of "Studies Completed this Term."also record it in the "Record of Siudies Completed,"in the back part of the Register. This record shouldshow every study which each pupil completes, untilhe finishes the course and graduates from the districtschool. The graduating of classes is one of thegreatest incentives that can be used in keepingpupilsfrom "dropping ouC' of school. Diplomas forgraduation will be furnished by the County Superin-tendent for all pupils who finish the course of study.4th. The "Syllabus of Classes" shows everyclass in each study, and the pupils (indicated bynumbers) belonging to it, also'the pages canvassedby each class during the term. f'he names of pupiisbelonging to each class may be found by referring to

    the namesr-.corresponding to each number, in thecolumn of "Names of Pupils."Sth. t The frsr classification of .any school is the -most dificult, and should be made with much care.Succeeding teachers should not change the classifica-tion left by their predecessors without good reason.6th. The classification as left by each teachershould show the status of each pupil at the close of.each term each being classified in the grade whichbe has justfnisled.7th. A pupil changing from one school to anyother in which this Register is used, may receivefrom his teacher a certificate of his standing, whichwill enable the teacher whose school he enters toclassify him without examination. "'8th. Certifcates o1f Promoion and Monthly Reponsto Parents may be found to be valuable helps.9th. Bejastandfair in your markings, neithertoo high nor too low, so as to avoid clashing ofopinion by successive teachers.
