DES Requirements for JCT

Resources: (circular 0024/2016 JCT)

– 40 min periods minimum

– Minimum of 240 hours for English Irish Maths, over three years in school

– Minimum of 200 hr per subject

– Minimum of 100 hr per short course

– 300 hrs Wellbeing (400 hrs 18.19)

– 2-4 hrs per week for co-ordination (depends on student numbers)
