Final Project: Making your “Design Presentation Video”
Common Requirements: 3ds Max Video Clip(s) + Your material + Audio at least 1.5 min
1. Final video should contain at least one 3ds Max-generated architectural video clip
2. AND/OR some “photo-realistic” rendering images of your design (2d image-based movie)
3. Final video should contain at least one or more audio
4. Final video should contain your materials
5. Video running time should be longer than 1 minute, in 720p (HD, if possible)
6. Ending credit required – “Your name, your contact email, course title, year, etc.”
7. Final video should be uploaded on your YouTube account & shared on FB etc.
8. This is an individual project, even if you use your team project work
What to do? – Choose one of following options for your final subject
1. Presenting Your Design Studio Work
- for your studio class final AND/OR the competition, if you involved
2. Your Design Portfolio Video
- making a video portfolio to show what you have done OR simply about you & design
3. A preview of video submission for other design competition
- for participating in other general design competitions, a bit different target or design can be applied
How to submit Final Project
Posting on Google YouTube Embed your video on the Course Web (Google site)
Due Date: 6/10/2015, 12:00 p.m. (Exactly before the week 15th class)
1. Finish your Final Project: Video File for a “Design Presentation”
2. Upload it on Google YouTube: Logon to Google (or new account) and upload it
3. Copy your YouTube URL OR embed your video on the Course Web (Final Project folder)
4. Your Google Site would be used for presenting your video and linked to Course Web
5. Your final project materials (movie, max, clip, etc.) subject to be submitted later
