1. Optimize your RAW video’s naming file BEFORE uploading
a. Right click on your raw video and edit the properties using keywords
b. Add a keyword rich title

b. TAG your link in Google Analytics URL builder so you can track traffic / conversions on your site
c. Write a 200 word summary using keywords but NOT stuffed
d. Cross pollinate your social profiles with links everywhere

a. Make sure to dress up your Channel page and Playlists. Add descriptions and keep them well organized.
b. Channel authority, relevancy, subscribers, shares MATTER.
5. Use tags for INTERNAL YouTube rankings, NOT external Google rankings
a. Use VID IQ to spy on competitors and jack tags for association purposes.
b. Create tags that can associate your video with other ones. Steal their tags and add them to your video.
c. Tags are NOT keywords – they’re organizational. Use them to categorize your video with what you want to be seen with.

Ø Old school link building techniques still work (blog comments, forums, PBNs) IF you’ve gotten real engagement to the video.
Ø White hat guest posting links KILL it. Build written content for guest posts based on your videos, embed them within your guest post.
8. Google search uses the same basic algorithm principles for YouTube videos as websites. That means getting other websites to link to your YouTube video is KEY
