Remote Control System of High Efficiency & Intelligent StreetLighting Using a Zigbee Network of De ices & Sensors

    IN!R"DUC!I"N#

The proposed project of controlling street light system can optimize

management and efficiency of street lighting systems. It uses micro controller and

ZigBee based wireless devices which enable more efficient street lamp-system

    management.

Lighting systems especially in the public sector are still designed

according to the old standards of reliability and they often do not ta!e advantage of

the latest technological developments. "ere in this project controls the whole

operation by controller zigbee and some sensors. This project allows signi#cant

cost savings and a greater respect for the environment.

DESCRI$!I"N#In this project all the electronic components are controlled by $icro

%ontroller which is heart of the project. "ere in this project we are ma!ing

automatically turn on the L&' lamps in evening by using L'( sunlight sensor.

Basically L'( is a light dependent resistor which varies its value depends on the

light. By using microcontroller we are ma!ing this operation. The L&' lamps are

controlling by the L&' driver circuit. "ere another sensor is using for the purpose

of detecting the movement of people according on this sensors output the

controller turn on the L&' lamps. If any L&' lamps are not turn on after getting

outputs from the sensor then the controller crosschec!s the lamps by another L'(

In this project we can process the operation by manually also by using the

emergency switch. It is only using when the lamps are needed in a day also then

we can ma!e this operation. "ere L%' is using to display the information of the
