ThefourthannualGulfEnvironment&SustainableDevelopmentForumtookplaceunderthepatronageoftheCustodianoftheTwoHolyMosquesKingAbdullahBinAbdulaziz.Theeventhasgrowninpopularityandprestigesinceitslaunchin2010,with35seniorlevelspeakersconvergingtopresentarangeoftopicsimpactingontheenvironmentintheGulfregion,includingRenewableEnergy,WasteManagementandRecyclingInnovations,WastewaterandDesalinationaswellasEnergyEfficiency.

ForthefirsttimeinSaudiArabia,theconferencewas100%paperless,withconferencedelegatesreceivingacomplimentaryiPadminipre-loadedwithaGEFapp,enablingthemtoorganisetheirday,takenotesandnetworkwithfellowparticipants,exhibitorsandsponsors.
