Affirmations for 14 Day

Confidence Conditioning Program

Day 1:

1. I am a focused and solid performing endurance athlete.

2. I am confident in my ability regardless of weather or external conditions.

3. No matter what others say or do – my success is up to what I do.

Day 2:

1. Put the past behind you and focus in the present one stride at a time.

2. Stop being so negative. You love triathlons and can pull this one together. Be one

with the challenge at hand.

3. Mistakes will not put you behind, however poor reactions will. Let go and focus on

the next phase of the event.

Day 3:

1. The quality of my performance has nothing to do with who I am and how I feel

about myself. I have what it takes to win.

2. I have the ability and deserve to be in this event. My recent success proves I can win

these events.

3. My swim times have improved and get better every day. I have a strong enough time

including transition to be in the top 10 today.

practice. I have good enough skills to place in the top third in each event today.

box on a shelf for the time being. Distractions have no place and will have no effect

on my performance today

3. I choose to see myself performing effortlessly as I glide through the water with

confidence and focus.

4. My race plan for today has prepared me to perform to the best of my ability and

focus on my own personal performance and not that of others

Day 6:

1. My goal for today’s race is to compete to the best of my ability and have no

expectations.

2. I love to compete, I love the energy of being in a field of runners, bikers and

swimmers and chose to focus on remaining present and in the flow.
