    MORE THAN A FACADE LARGE-FORMAT,

    VERSATILE AND AESTHETIC

The design and engineering properties of timber

when used in combination with glass and aluminium

open up a whole range of architectural possibilities.

    Todays facades are energy-efficient, complex

building elements with versatile properties and a

variety of materials. The facade system, which is

also suitable for very large concepts, ensures the im-

plementation of the architects aesthetic and

detailed geometrical requirements while also satis-

fying the demands of building owners with regards

to energy conservation, energy saving and use ofmodern building technology, such as solar and sun-

    screen technology.

The designs can be based on curtain walling

facades using traditional transoms and mullions

or on fully pre-assembled modular facades in-

cluding insulated panels, window elements or ex-

ternal cladding. The facades are noted for being

    extremely weather-resistant and long-lasting,

guaranteed by the use of tested sealing systems

and materials that are specifically intended and

    optimised for use outdoors.

    EUROPES LEADING

    COMPANY FOR TIMBER

    STRUCTURES

Rubner Holzbau is the ideal partner to trust when building

complex timber structures and projects of high architectural

quality. The constant thrust towards innovation and our wide

experience gained over decades of work have allowed our

company to become the technological leader and specialist

    in the field of timber.

This wide range of products has allowed the company to

create, all over the world, buildings characterised by a

common denominator: supreme mastery in the use of timber.

The passion for this raw material also emerges in the manytypes of projects we develop for public and private residential

    complexes:

    Industrial and commercial buildings

    Sports arenas

    Shopping centres

    Churches

    Congress and cultural centres

    Agricultural halls

    Bridges

    Housing estates

Rubner Holzbau is part of the family-run Rubner Group. The

Groups companies cover the entire value-added chain from

logs predominantly from sustainably managed forests

in Styria to the finished product: timber creates building

products such as timber framing, solid wood panels and

load bearing laminated timber, wall systems, roof and ceiling

elements, doors and windows. Major building projects and

ecological housing are then created from these products.
