The measure of excellenceService Update: TNC 15x
From the 31st December 2014, HEIDENHAIN will no longer service the TNC 15x series of controls.
Due to a lack of replacement components, we are now unable to repair or supply TNC 15x compact controls.
If your current TNC 15x compact control fails, we recommend replacing this with one of our newer state-of-the-art models.
HEIDENHAIN can recommend a qualified service provider, who specialises in mounting current HEIDENHAIN controls, and who will be able to carry out a refit for you.
If the existing power electronics can be re-used, we recommend upgrading to the HEIDENHAIN TNC 320 contouring control with analogue axis control as a replacement. Alternatively, on machines with a central drive, the HEIDENHAIN TNC 128 straight-cut control can also be fitted.
To upgrade your contouring controls to our newest models, the TNC 620 or TNC 640 contouring control, the analogue power modules will also need to be replaced. HEIDENHAIN offers digital drive technology (motors and inverters) for this purpose.
