2 Set the radio station

The following options are available: 1. "Automatic" search mode (the 8 radio station with the best reception are automatically searched for and

saved) - If you decide to use the "automatic" search mode, confirm it by pressing the Prog button.

3 After the search has been completed, the menu is terminated and normal radio operation continues.

4.3.6.2 Manual search mode In step 6 "Search mode" the following functions become available: No. Function 1 Search mode

- When confirming with the Prog button you switch to menu item "Search mode".

2 Set the radio station

The following options are available: 1. "Manual" search mode (radio station can be searched for and saved manually, a maximum of 8 stations)

- If you decide to use the "Manual" search mode, change from display "Automatic" to the manual search mode with the "plus / minus" buttons and confirm with the Prog button.

- Search for the suitable radio frequencies with the "plus / minus" buttons. Tip: If you keep the "plus / minus" button pressed for approximately 5 seconds, the next most powerful

station will be displayed. - Confirm the manual selection of the station with the Prog button.

- Search for a memory location (location 1-8) with "plus / minus buttons. - Confirm the memory location with the Prog button.

- After the confirmation with the Prog button the display shows the text "Saved". After this you change automatically to the enquiry "Additional stations".

3 Additional stations

- Confirm your enquiry with the Prog button. - Confirm the enquiry "Yes" with the Prog button if you wish to select additional station.

- Search for the suitable radio frequencies with the "plus / minus" buttons. - Confirm your selection of the station with the Prog button.

- Search for a memory location (location 1-8) with the "plus / minus buttons. - Confirm the station location with the Prog button.

_ You can keep confirming this enquiry with "Yes" until you have found and set all your desired stations, or occupied all 8 station locations.

Attention: No message is displayed showing that all station locations are occupied, which means that station location 8 can be continuously overwritten!

- When all 8 station locations have been occupied, change to the next processing step.

4 Quitting the input - Answer the enquiry "Additional stations" with "No".

- Press the "plus" button. - Confirm the enquiry "No" with the Prog button once you have set all the stations. You simultaneously

switch to the next processing step.

– Pull the attachment off only with your hands! Do not lever parts off with screwdrivers or similar hard

objects. This damages the device. – When pulling off, first the resistance of the spring

clamps must be overcome.

In addition to the integrated antenna, an external antenna can be connected to the corresponding connector. 2. For the selection of the antenna set the switch on the rear

of the device on "Internal" or "External".

- Connecting lamps or electronic transformers to the same phase can cause interference to reception. In this case, always use an external antenna.

4. Mount the flush-mounted insert.

5. Plug the attachment together with the frame onto the

flush-mounted insert. – Make sure that the plug-in connection on the rear side

does not get jammed. – If mounting is difficult, check whether a burr has

formed at the lock-in opening of the flush-mounted insert and remove it.
