Tell us more about the country that you are from or are currently based in.

D: Perth, Australia. It’s a lovely part of the world.

What do you think are the top must-dos when visiting this country?

D: Depends if you’re lucky with the sharks or not, I think Rottnest Island is great, if you’re into snorkelling and maybe some diving! The waters there are beautiful, and it’s just a bit of a ferry ride from Perth (about 40 minutes). As long as you’re not afraid of sharks it should be

alright.

I think basically all the coastal areas are great. We’ve got plenty of nice beaches and lots of cafes etc. along the beaches, which is good. Subiaco is a nice suburb in the city, with lots of nice restaurants, bars and clubs if you want a bit of a night out.

Based on the countries that you have raced in, which is the country has the best trackside view?

D: Monaco and Singapore. Singapore is special in the night, with lots of

skyscrapers and lots of lights, and the fireworks afterwards, it’s quite special. Monaco, it probably doesn’t need to be explained [why]. I guess if you’ve been there or seen images on TV, you can say it’s pretty spectacular, being in the harbour and the size of the boats/ships there. It’s pretty impressive.

Which race has the most exciting after parties?

I haven’t really indulged in that fun lifestyle yet… but to be honest I’ve been out to Singapore’s and that was pretty fun. And Monaco again. Probable, with a bit more experience, Canada and Australia are also recommended from what I’ve heard, not really what I’ve experienced. But I know Australia’s always going to be good!

If you have the time, which country would you like to visit to for leisure?

I’ve never really been to America, and it has fascinated me. I think just the size of it and obviously, there’s so many different parts to the country and so many things to do. I’d love to do America, with a group of friends in a motor home, and sort of… go travelling for months. It’s always something that I’ve always envisioned doing, so maybe one day I’ll make it happen.
