Background

Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has been working for economic development and creating job opportunities for people of province. Government has been attracting investors in industrial estates and information technology. Concerted efforts are required for creating jobs for skilled and educated unemployed persons.

Investment Projects

These must be constructed in business areas like Saddar and Hayatabad. Parking plazas would be source of income for the members of KPCCI besides keeping traffic flow on roads.

Parking Plazas

Zoos must be opened in different parts of Peshawar. Animals and birds can be had from Zoos in Islamabad, Lahore or Karachi.Families would visit them especially on Fridays and Sundays thus these are source of income.


Zoo

Women are 50% population of Peshawar and they face problems while traveling. Buses must be bought and run in the city. These will be source of income. Japan and Saudi Arabia must be contacted to get grants for these buses.


Women Public Transport

It is a must requirement of a metropolis. Government has been deliberating on Peshawar Stock Exchange (PSE) and has allocated land.KPCCI should come forward and construct building of PSE to earn rent from business community and brokerage houses.

A convention center must be established in the city where social and official functions and events could be arranged. This center will be rent out to organizations for expos thus a source of income for the Government.


Convention/Expo Center

These clubs will be established to produce national and international level jockeys and horses. Members of KPCCI should establish them. These clubs would be source of income and entertainment for visitors to Peshawar.


Horse Riding Clubs

Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa should construct state of the art 100-foot high revolving restaurant in an accessible place in Peshawar. It should rent it out to earn income. Revolving Restaurant would be a new tourist addition in Peshawar.
