27 September 2018
Grace to the 151st Session of the Kentucky Annual
Conference!
Thanks to Pastor & Brother Raglin, Embry Chapel AME
Church, and those who assisted in every way to make our
sessions efficient and productive. We appreciate the
hospitality of the greater Elizabethtown Area.
Special thanks to the presiding elders, pastors and laity for
your diligent service throughout the year. Your preparations
for this session are acknowledged with gratitude.
We are Pursuing Environmental Justice! Environmental
accountability requires intentional focus on how our habits of
consumption impact others and faithfulness to God’s plan for
the earth. The power, and will, to do better is directly related
to how we see God and our role as stewards of creation.
Let us praise God with grateful hearts and respectful
practices. Conserve, re-use, recycle. Let us think as we act
with our resources. Advocate for commercial and
governmental interests to do the same.
Lest we forget, register, vote and encourage others. VOTE!
Supervisor Susan joins me in saying thank you for your loving
support.
Faithfully,
Jeffrey N. Leath
