COURSE REPORT (9 TH BATCH INDUCTION TRAINING) (15 TH FEBRUARY 2018 TO 28 TH MARCH, 2018) The Ninth Batch consisting of 29 nos of ORS officers were put to 30 working days Induction Training in the Institute as per direction of Govt. in Revenue and Disaster Management Deptt vide letter no. 25034 dtd. 28.07.2017 & 44986 dtd. 27.12.2017. The module was designed for acquaintance by officers with different rules, laws, and regulations of Revenue Administration as well as Disaster Management. Out of 40 nos. of sponsored trainees, 29 officers have completed the Programme. 03 trainee officers were exempted from training by Government. Objective of the Programme :- To make the Participants aware about their roles and responsibilities in the Revenue Administration and to acquaint with different Revenue Laws. To acquaint the participants with the Criminal laws and powers and functions of Executive Magistrates and how to deal with Preventive sections of Cr.P.C. To make them aware about the other miscellaneous laws.

The Ninth Batch consisting of 29 nos of ORS officers were put to 30 working

days Induction Training in the Institute as per direction of Govt. in Revenue and

Disaster Management Deptt vide letter no. 25034 dtd. 28.07.2017 & 44986 dtd.

27.12.2017. The module was designed for acquaintance by officers with different

rules, laws, and regulations of Revenue Administration as well as Disaster

Objective of the Programme:-

To make the Participants aware about

their roles and responsibilities in the

Revenue Administration and to acquaint

with different Revenue Laws.

To acquaint the participants with the

Inauguration:-

Sri Chinmay Kumar Acharaya, OAS (I)

J.B , Deputy Director welcomed the dignitaries

and the trainee Officers and briefed them on the

objectives and contents of the Induction

Training programme. Self Introduction was

made by all participating trainee officers. Sri

Subhendu Pattnaik, Assistant Director briefing

the trainee officers regarding the SoP among

the trainee Officers for maintaining utmost

discipline in the campus and attending class

regularly.

Sri Biranchi Narayan Behera, Assistant Director, put vote of thanks to all the

trainee officers and advice them to follow the rules & regulations of the training as

well as hostel during their stay in the campus.

A brief description on ROTI, its mandate and curriculum was presented after

which, the training Programme started as per the schedule.

The training was designed as hereunder.

Class room teaching

Short Video clips on Personality Development, Change of Attitude,

Leadership quality etc.

Practical Training on Plain Table & H-Tech Survey.

The module of such 30 working days training was approved by Govt. in

Revenue & DM Deptt. Vide letter no. 25034 dtd. 28.07.2017 & accordingly 30

All the Trainees were being provided with Evaluation sheet to give their

feedback about the Training course and resource persons at the end of each week.

All the Trainees were provided with sufficient Training materials both in shape

of hard and soft copies in pen drive provided by the Institute. Three Examination-

cum-Knowledge Tests were conducted to evaluate the trainee officers.

On 28th March, 2018, the valedictory function was organized in presence of

Additional Director (Accounts), Deputy Director, Administrative Officer, Asst.

Directors, ROTI. Besides, Sri B.K.Pattnaik, Resource Person of the Institute was

invited for the valediction Ceremony.All Officers inspired the trainees with their

advices. The individual trainee ORS officers have expressed their experience &

satisfaction on the overall conduct of the Training. The trainee officers have

expressed their feelings and narrated the importance of the topic and advice given

by him during the training days to maintain the truthfulness, humbleness and

sincerity, and to have empathy, responsiveness towards public.

During Valedictory ceremony all the participants were awarded with certificate

of participation for training.

Sri Purna Chandra Dash, Administrative Officer of the Institute extended vote

of thanks to all concerned and with this, the 30 (Working) days Induction Training

Programme of ORS 9th batch came to an end.
