Soyabean, soyoil drop on profit

booking

Soyabean, soyoil down on profit booking driven by a

stronger rupee and a drop in Malaysian palm oil. Malaysian

palm oil futures ended lower for the first time in five days on

concerns that demand in April would be weaker than

anticipated. The June soybean ended 1.6 percent lower at

3,638 rupees per 100 kg.

Jeera futures ended flat as profit-

taking concerns over production

Mentha oil were very volatile

during yesterday’s trading session.

Mentha oil April contract futures prices were very volatile

during yesterday’s trading session. Since the beginning of

the session, mentha oil futures prices are traded on positive

note. During the day, prices took smart corrections. Hence,

menthe oil futures prices ended the day on a negative note at

Rs.974.50/Kg, down by 2.07%.

Jeera futures ended flat as profit-taking offset concerns over

production. The key May jeera contract eased 0.06 percent to

17,590 rupees per 100 kg.
