17 college professors that must be stopped - preview - sxswedu
TRANSCRIPT
Teaching effectiveness is an extremely important issue in higher education.
More recently, it has become even more important because of the growing number of NEW part-time professors who are teaching at
community colleges and four-year institutions.
Many colleges and universities are creating Centers for Teaching Excellence as a way to help professors develop their craft.
These Centers address topics like active learning, classroom management, lesson planning, curriculum development, student development and engagement.
It is imperative that colleges and universities provide professors with the necessary training, tools, and resources to help them become the best instructor possible.
unfortunately…
Sometimes in order to become the BEST,
you have to learn from the WORST!
