HOW TO WEAR THE PULLOVERWith drawstrings on both top and bottom ofthe pullover, it is versatile enough to wear in

different ways. To wear as shown in theimage on the left on page 1 of the pattern, letthe bottom hem fall around your hips, thentighten the bottom drawstring loosely aroundthe hips. Tighten the top drawstring aroundthe top of your shoulders and adjust thefabric to create an even ruffle around theneckline. To wear as shown in the image onthe right, bring the bottom hem of thepullover around your waist, then tighten thebottom drawstring more tightly to keep it atwaist level. The top drawstring can beloosened as much as possible (or removed ifyou prefer) to let the neckline droop in thecenter, forming a frame for the camisole ortop you choose to wear underneath it.

SPECIAL TECHNIQUEI-CORD: On dpn, cast on [or pick up]number of sts indicated in instructions. DONOT TURN. *Slide sts to the opposite end ofthe needle and knit them, pulling yarn firmlybehind sts; rep from * to desired length. Aftera few rows, you will see that you are knitting

a tiny tube; give it a gentle tug now and thento adjust any loose sts. Bind off all sts, leaving approx. 12 tail for finishing.
