The Golden Rule does not promote or create leaders to lead people to some heaven or paradise because following anybody exercising the Golden Rule will not get anyone there until they do it themselves.
Religions on the other hand raise up leaders left and right which all claim that if you follow them, the leaders, prophets, or holy men, that they can lead you to the most mythical places in the universe.
The only problem is that in order to go to those places one has to have spent their lives living the Golden Rule which is the single only thing that qualify anyone to be able to live in places that the eye has never seen, the ear has never heard, and the heart only dreams of. One must do the Golden Rule not just believe in it.
