Starting off with a win against North-west, seventh in Suburban West, the Pan-thers have been on a three-game losing skid. Mehlville faces Parkway South in the 2011 homecoming game. Meanwhile, Parkway South has the opposite record. South carries a winning streak, but experienced their first loss against Lind-bergh, who sits atop the Subruban West in second. Coach Eric Meyer continues to look to the future for homecoming game success. “We’re making too many mistakes, and there are tough circumstances, but we are still competing” said Meyer. Meyer remains confident in his team for the big game. “Hopefully we’ll do well. We take it week by week because of injuries. It changes the matchup,” said Meyer. “You just have to adjust.” The Panthers will have to adjust their offense more than ever. Chayse Brown suffered a season-ending injury in the third week of the schedule. He led the team in scoring and rushing.
