    The depofition of Henery Wilknes fen aged 41yeares, who teftifieth and fayth that upon the third ofMay laft, John Willard came to my houfe and veryearneftly entreated me to go uith him to Boftton wchI at length contented to go with him. my fon Danielcomeinge and underftandinge I was goinge withhim to Bofton and feemed to be much troubledthat I would go with the faid Willard and he faydhe thought it were wel if the fayd Willard werehanged wch made me admire for I never heard fuchan expreffion come from him to any one beingefine he came to yeares of difcretion, but after I wasgone in a few days he was taken ficke and grewevery day worfe and worfe whereupon we made ap-lication to a phyfitian who affirmed his ficknes wasby Ibme preter natural caufe and would make noaplication of any phificke Some tymes after thisour neighbours coming to vifit my fon Mercy Lewis came wth them and affirmed that me saw theapparition of John Willard afflicting him quicklyafter came An Putnam and me faw the fame apparition and then my eldeft daughter was taken in afad manner and the fayd An faw the fayd Willardafflicting her at Another tyme mercy lewes andmary Walcott came to vifit him and they faw thefame apparition of Willard afflicting him and thisnot but a little tyme before his death. I didbut ftep into the next room & I was prefently takenin a ftrange condition fo that I could not dine noreat any thing. I cannot exprefs the mifery I wasin for my water was fuddenly ftopt & I had no benefit of nature but was like a man in a Rock andI told my wife immediatly that I was afraid thatWillard had done me wrong my pain continuingand finding no relief my jealoufie continued: Mr.Lawfon and others there were all amazed & knewnot what to do for me.     Thurfday night being the 2y th day of No r we hearda grate noyfe without round the houfe of knockingthe boards of the house, & as we conceiued throwing of ftones agt the houfe : whereupon myfelfe &wife lookt out, & faw nobody, & the boy all thistime with vs : but we had ftones & fticks throwneat vs that we were forced to retire into the houfeagaine, afterwards we went to bed & the boy withus, & then the like noyes was vpon the roofe of thehoufe.

    2. The fame night about midnight the doorebeing lockt when we went to bed, we heard a greathog in the houfe grunt & make a noyes, as wethought willing to gett out & that we might notbe difturbed in or deep I rofe to lett him out & Ifound a hog in the houfe & the doore unlockt : thedoore was firmely lockt when we went to bed.

The night following I had a great awle lyingin the window, the wch awle we faw fall downeout of the chimney into the afhes by the fire. 5.After this I bid the boy putt the fame awl into thecupboard wch we faw done, & the doore fht too :this fame awle came preiently downe the chimneyagaine in or fight & I tooke it vp myielfe againe thefame night we faw a little Indian bafkett that wasin the loft before come downe the chimney againe,& I tooke the fame bafket & put a piece of brickinto it, and the bafket with the brick was gone, &came downe againe the third time with the brickin it, & went up againe the fourth time, & camedown againe without the bricke : & the brickecame downe a little after.6. The next day being Saturday, (tones, flicks,& pieces of bricks came downe fo that we couldnot quietly drefTe o r breakfaft, and flicks of fireallfo came downe at the fame time.
