Country Profile • Lao People’s Democratic

Republic (Laos) situate in the center of Southeast Asia. Our country has share the border with Vietnam Cambodia, China, Myanmar and Thailand.

• Virtually all of the country is lower watershed of the Mekong river which traverse the country from north to south.

ICT Industry in Lao PDR• ICT application is increasing all sectors.• Hardware market is increasing rapidly. • Almost hardware spare parts are imported and assembly

by local venders.• There are only a few software developers. • The current ICT Industry in Lao PDR divided into four
