Very brief, because OneNote is just a slightly simpler Microsoft Word
YOU MAY NEED A MICROSOFT ACCOUNT TO EDIT THE NOTEBOOK, I'M NOT QUITE SURE

In order to be compatible with this OneNote notebook you will need OneNote 2010 or higher for Windows or download OneNote for Mac from the App Store
DownloadsIf you don't have OneNote 2010 or higher (bundled with Microsoft Office for Windows) then you can use the following links to find the correct download for you:
Desktops

After download, you can sign into OneNote using your Microsoft Account, going to File > Open and finding it under "Shared Notebooks"
Web
If you have none of these options available to you, then you can simply view and edit the notebook in a web browser. Some features will be missing but the main functions will still be there. To launch it, bookmark the link in the email that Isent you, you will need it to access the notebook
a. If it asks you to, log into or create a microsoft account (if you use outlook/hotmail, microsoft office 365, xbox live etc. you already have a microsoft account)
1. Click the link I sent you
2. Click 'Open in OneNote'
Start editing, all changes should save automatically3.
