Year 6 Production Year 6 are busy preparing for their end of year production. We are very excited to be per-forming, 'Wow! What a Year!' in which we look at the ex-traordinary times and experi-
ences as a result of the pandemic. Due to Covid restrictions, we will be recording this instead of performing to a live audience. We will email Y6 parents with our performance during the last week of term. It's going to be amazing!
Summer has arrived! Please can we remind parents to ensure chil-dren bring their named, clear/transparent water bottle into school every day and sun-
screen/ sun hat if they require it. You can
purchase a water bottle on ParentPay for £3 each. Please collect
from the office.

On Friday 25th June, we will be celebrating One Britain One Nation Day. In the run up, we have been learning a brilliant song called 'Shout Out Britain' which was written by children at St John's CE Primary School (one of our fellow BDAT schools). On the day, we will do work based around the national theme 'Our Strength is our People'. At lunchtime, we will eat our lunch together in our bub-bles on the playground as our way of tak-ing part in the 'NHS Big Tea' to say 'Happy Birthday' and show our apprecia-tion to our wonderful NHS. There is no need to do anything differently in terms of lunches on this day. If your child has a school lunch, this will made accessible to eat on the playground too. All you need to do is wear your blue, white or red clothes if you wish!

AMENDED HOLIDAY DATE Her Majesty The Queen will celebrate her Plati-num Jubilee from Thursday 2nd – Sunday 5th June 2022. As a nation, we are therefore gaining an ex-tra bank holiday. As this date is in school holiday time, we are therefore permitted to have an extra day off like most other people. June 6th 2022 is now an addition to our holiday schedule.
As a Brownie, there are three different interest badges under each theme, which Brownies can work towards on their own. Clara has achieved Bronze Award and some of her badges in-clude: Chinese New Year Virtual Brownie Badge she received during lockdown through Zoom calls, and a Rights Badge which involves standing up for yourself. Activities include bak-ing, growing her own plants and mak-ing a plane to see how far it flew. She has also taken part in fundraisers. Well done Clara, this is amazing!
