Palungtar Municipality (area: 158.62 sq. km) is located in Gorkha District in Province 4in its earlier form, was formed by amalgamating erstwhile four Village Development Committees (VDCs), namely Aanppipal, Chyangli, Gaikhur, and Palungtar. Later three more VDCs Mirkot – were added to form Palung
