1907 are connoisseurs in the art of luxury mattresses, our dedicated craftsmen handcraft every mattress to

perfection using only the finest materials.

We are all different, which is why at 1907 we have a range of luxury mattresses to suit everyone. Different

combinations of fillings and spring tension are important factors when choosing the right mattress, as well as

deciding whether you would prefer a naturally filled mattress or a memory foam one. Or, if you prefer, we are

experts in creating bespoke mattresses – which allows us to make a mattress tailored for you.

What’s more, all 1907 mattresses feature a complimentary five year guarantee with free replacement or repair on

faulty mattresses, reflecting our commitment to provide you with the perfect mattress.

We know that our customers come in all shapes and sizes - and that there is not always a one-size-fits-all

mattress. Because all 1907 mattresses are constructed by hand, we are able to create a bespoke mattress

tailored to your needs. We can cut-out corners for specific bedsteads, craft mattresses to fit into an alcove or if

you and your partner prefer different spring tensions then we can also customise this for you.

We are proud of our rich heritage. This longevity is harvested from our founding principles of quality and local

We’re so sure of our high quality beds we offer a guarantee on all 1907 mattresses lasting for five years.

If you discover a fault within this five year time frame, we will repair your mattress free of charge.

many mattress companies will tell you the only way to achieve perfect sleep is on a 100% natural or a

memory foam mattress. We don’t agree with this and stock a range of both, allowing you to make the

decision for yourself.

Both supremely supportive, memory foam and naturally filled mattresses offer great comfort but feel

significantly different.

Naturally filled mattresses use high quality materials such as wool to provide a soft comfort, horsehair to retain

shape and add springiness to aid movement and coir to regulate temperature, keeping the mattress warm or

cool depending on the circumstances, providing optimum sleeping conditions.

memory foam has a unique open cell structure that reacts to body heat, moulding around your body, eliminating

pressure points allowing you to settle for long periods without tossing and turning.

Ventilation and flexibility

Strong and supple, horsehair is naturally resilient and

bounces back after compression.

This ensures that your mattress won’t lose its shape.

It absorbs body heat and moisture and allows natural

ventilation, making it a perfect mattress filling.

Wool

Insulation and comfort

The wool in your 1907 mattress is both super-soft and

supportive. It nestles underneath the mattress covering,

providing a comfortable, quilted natural fibre layer.

The unique construction of natural wool works in harmony

with your body temperature, keeping you warm in winter

and cooler in summer.

Wool is also naturally flame resistant, making it a

safe choice.

Heat and moisture resistance

Coir is found between the husk and the outer shell of a

coconut, and is a naturally sourced insulator.

Heat and moisture resistant, a coir layer prevents your

mattress from overheating – an essential component for a

truly relaxing sleep.

Cotton is a 100% natural, hypoallergenic fibre that feels

foam, which softens in reaction to body heat, causing it to

quickly mould around a warm body.

Support and bounce

Our high-quality open coil mattresses are more

competitively priced than pocket spring mattresses,

without compromising on comfort.

Our craftsmen use traditional methods of construction

that offer great value and excellent quality.

The coils are all assembled into a single construction

with wire, which joins the coils at top and bottom to

form several rows. An outer rod is then fitted around the

top and bottom of the finished construction to provide

additional strength.

The pocket spring system provides exceptional luxury.

Separate fabric pockets house individual coiled springs –

and as each spring is housed separately, each one works

independently to naturally support and contour different

areas of your body.

It is generally considered that the higher the spring count

the greater level of support – however, the quality and

tension of the springs is also of paramount importance.

Our naturally filled mattresses use the finest natural fibres, expertly combined to create a sumptuously

comfortable bed. Super-soft wool, cotton, horsehair and coir are hand-teased to open out the fibres and laid

over individual pockets springs for optimal full-body support. The coir regulates body temperature, keeping the

mattress warm or cool depending on the season for optimum sleeping conditions.

There are a whole host of benefits associated with sleeping in an electric bed, some of these include:

By selecting locally sourced materials wherever possible, not only do our local farmers and businesses reap the

benefits but so does the earth: transporting materials locally significantly reduces our carbon footprint.

We are wholly dedicated to using renewable or biodegradable sources wherever possible. The plastic we use is

fully recyclable, and any waste plastic produced is baled and sent to our recycling partner.

The way we see it, it is our duty to make 1907 mattresses as ecologically sound as possible, and we are

RetuRnS

In the unlikely event that a product is faulty or it has been damaged during delivery 1907 reserve the right to repair, replace or refund the damaged item. To do so we require notification of any defect within 72 hours of the product being delivered to you.

In addition we will require details of the fault, order number and delivery details. We reserve the right to inspect all faulty products, for any reason, prior to agreeing to any part or full refund or any exchange.

Refunds will be made within 7 days of confirmation of the fault being received by 1907. The refund will be made to the account originally used to purchase the product.

size gUiDe

all 1907 mattresses are available in a range of sizes, from a single to super king.

Below are the standard mattress sizes for each type of bed – but these can vary so please carefully measure your bed base to double check before ordering:

stanDarD Delivery

We will arrange a delivery that is suitable for you, and we want to ensure that you will be home when your new mattress arrives.

Deliveries are made between 7.00am-7.00pm monday to friday – (excluding Bank Holidays) depending on your location in the UK.

all mattresses and/or bed frames are delivered free of charge. Unfortunately we cannot deliver outside mainland UK. If you want your goods delivering outside of the UK we will deliver them to any UK shipping port.

It is your responsibility to advise us of any difficulties that may be encountered when delivering the goods to your property, we cannot be liable for goods not getting in. please ensure that there is safe access to your room of choice and that the access route is clear.

all deliveries must be received and signed for by a person over the age of 18 and will only be made to the address specified on the original order. 1907 deem the delivery to have taken place when the goods have been delivered to the agreed delivery address.

Unfortunately we cannot assemble bed frames - however these will still be delivered to the room of the customers’ choice.

Deliveries may fail at the last minute for unforeseen reasons, please do not dispose of your old mattress or frame until your new one has been delivered.

If 1907 has failed to deliver the goods within 30 days of the delivery date due to its own neglect (on either stock or special items) then the buyer may cancel the contract without penalty.

We don’t just deliver to your door – we will always endeavour to deliver your mattress to the room of your choice.

gUarantee

All 1907 mattresses have a standard five year guarantee, if your mattress is faulty we will repair or replace it for free.

your guarantee will be included with your mattress. please read it carefully - it provides tips to help you care for your mattress and it provides you with a record of the date of manufacture.

This guarantee only applies to 1907 mattresses and does not apply to bed frames or divans.

To prevent a build up of dust, dander and dust mites, you should vacuum your mattress regularly using the upholstery attachment on your vacuum cleaner.

If the mattress surface becomes dirty or soiled, use an upholstery shampoo, using warm water and a sponge – do not allow the interior materials of the mattress get wet, and do not use solvent-based

cleansers as these can damage memory foam mattresses. allow the mattress to dry thoroughly.

a mattress cover or protector is optional, but may provide further protection from dust and a build-up of dirt. This should be cleaned whenever you wash your bedding.

natUral Mattresses

you should turn your natural mattress once a month to ensure the utmost support and comfort. you should vary this between rotating it from end to end and from side to side each month.

MeMory FoaM Mattresses

Do not turn your memory foam mattress. you should rotate your memory foam mattress once a month, however this should only be turned from end to end as the layer of memory foam should

always stay on the side that you sleep on.
