Product Characteristics Valsir® Blackfire® drainage systems meet the requirements of EN 1451. They can be used internally and externally at commercial, domestic, industrial and institutional premises for the following applications: • Low and high temperature waste water; • Waste water ventilation; • Rainwater harvesting installations within the structure of the building. peci ication The drainage system shall be a soundproof, fire resistant and UV resistant push-fit waste system composed of pipes, fittings and accessories for drainage inside and outside the building in the exterior colour black. The interior layer (pipes only) shall be manufactured in white to assist with ease of video inspection should it become necessary. The pipes and fittings will be manufactured from raw materials which are completely recyclable, available in diameters 30, 40, 50, 70, 90, 100, 125 and 100mm and manufactured according to EN 1451. diameters 32, 40, 50, 75, 90, 110, 125 and 160mm and manufactured according to EN 1451.

The pipe markings shall clearly indicate the name of the manufacturer, the brand, the external diameter, minimum wall thickness, connection diameters, the reference standard(s), the indication of material and the production plant. The push-fit drainage system shall have a fire rating of B1 as defined in DIN 4102. The drainage system will have an acoustic performance, defined as a sound pressure level of LSC.A 15 dB(A) measured with a flow rate of 2 l/s for a 110mm diameter system in compliance with EN 14366 and certified by an approved test house. The drainage system shall be UV stabilised to effect a UV (ultra-violet resistance) rating as certified by

in accordance with to resist the degrading effect of UV rays for a period of not less than years from date of installation. The drainage system shall be resistant to negative pressure of up to -800 mbar and to positive pressure of up to 1.5 bar. Fittings shall be produced in black colour throughout and incorporate a lip seal made in SBR rubber. All the materials used in in the production of the system shall be halogen free. The system shall be compliant with EN 1451-1 and suitable for the drainage of fluids, consistent with ISO TR 10358, at an atmospheric pressure and maximum temperature of 80 C with continuous use and 95 C with intermittent use, with pH values between 2 and 12. The waste system is to be used for the construction of waste systems inside or outside the building, and also for the creation of ventilation and rainwater drainage systems and extraction systems under negative pressure.
