Kavala/Greece Fri., 24th Jul.Arrival: 07.00 hours. Kavala, built in the form of anamphitheatre, looks out across the sea into the fardistance. Our excursion to Philippi* will take us wayback into history. Archaeological excavations haverevealed an ancient city which was a political andeconomic centre. Today’s village has a religious sig-nificance thanks to the visit of the Apostle Paul. Wewill also be visiting the site of the baptism of the holyLydia, located nearby. It was on this spot that Europe’sfirst baptism took place. Departure: 13.00 hours

General information

Electric voltage: The voltage on board is 220 V. Every bathroom is equipped with a

razor plug.

Gratuities:Gratuities are not included in the price of your cruise. We suggest

€ 14 per person per day as a guideline.

Infirmary:The infirmary is run by a ship‘s doctor, who can be contacted day and

night. Any special treatment required must be agreed to in advance.

Restaurant:Meals are served during one sitting and have free choice of table

seating. Meal times are posted in the daily programme delivered to

your cabin, as well as on the daily programme board in the reception

area.
