TOURNAMENT SITE

The competition area on the PIDS site has common wind from the West. Weather conditions: in August, the average temperature in Paris is min 17°C and max 30°C with a west wind.

SKI STORAGE

The organizer will supply storage for competitors’ equipment. Security staff will be on site, however the organizer is not responsible for stolen, lost or damaged equipment.

Entry fee for individual skiers is 180.00 € per skier.

The Entry fee must be paid, by bank transfer no later than 6th August 2015 before

12:00 hours. The last chance is to pay it in cash (in euros) at the site.

An email with a copy of the bank transfer receipt has to be sent to: ffsnw@ffsnw.fr

If transfer is made at the last moment, your team might be asked to pay in cash again if the money is not on the account of the organizer before the deadline. Without entry fee paid, the skier or team is not allowed to start the competition.

VISA REQUIREMENTS

For citizens of any EU country that is in the Schengen agreement a valid ID or passport is required to enter France. All non-Schengen countries are suggested to contact the French embassy or consulate in their country for more information.

ACCREDITATION

WARNING: To receive credentials a passeport JPEG picture is required (ffsnw@ffsnw.fr) for anyone wanting to access to the competition zone (skiers, team members, medical staff, officials…).

PRACTICE

UNOFFICIAL TRAINING SCHEDULE It will be possible to train at the official site with official boat from August 3rd -to 7th and 10th

to 13th and at special times on 14th and 15th August 2015 ( 8h-9h, 13h-14h30 and 18h30-20h)

at 200 € per hour or 15 min sessions starting at the dock before getting on the boat and return at the dock out of the boat, which means 13min of real training time at 60 euros. Bookings will be on first come first serve basis.

Due to modification of the competition schedule, one more day (Sunday 16 August) is open to unofficial training. Dates and times for these training sessions must be required prior to 16 JUILLET 2015, by email at ffsnw@ffsnw.fr. The payment for practice at the official site will be possible through wire transfer. If payment is not received by 16th July 2015, the training times will be lost. Starting 16th July, organizer reserves the right to sell any remaining time.

No lunch will be provided during this time.

OFFICIAL PRACTICE

The official practice will be held from August 17th and 18th at a cost of 4 € per min (240 € max) according to rule 1.18: Official Familiarization

The last two days immediately before the Championships will be reserved and used for Offi-cial Familiarization. This will be organized so that each competitor who has paid shall be al-lotted either a set number of passes and/or a certain amount of time at the discretion of the Chief Judge based on the principle that every skier shall receive an equal opportunity for familiarization. Slalom skiers will receive a maximum of 4 passes (or 6 minutes); trick skiers 2 passes (or 5 minutes) and jump skiers 3 jumps (or 6 minutes). Each team requesting familiarization time shall indicate on the official Intention to Enter form time required, which must be submitted at least 60 days before the scheduled start of the event. They must indicate how many skiers in each event wish to participate. Teams who do not comply with this deadline will not be included in the familiarization schedule. At least 45 days before the scheduled start of the event, the Organizer (in consultation with the Chief Judge, whose decision shall be final) shall announce the official familiarization schedule (in-cluding the allowed time). Time will be scheduled for competitors on a random team basis, and shall be grouped by event, i.e. slalom familiarization, trick familiarization and jump fa-miliarization (by jump height) will be grouped together. Any athlete whose time has not been paid for at least 30 days before the scheduled start of the event, or who is not ready to ski in accordance with the schedule, will lose their official familiarization time. The Chief Judge shall have the discretion to change the start time of team’s familiarization based on extraordinary circumstances. The above is summarized in the table below:

All skiers are kindly obliged to submit at registration a filled in Declaration, Waiver and Release Form along with a date of skiing and signature. For athletes under 18 years, the Declaration, Waiver and Release Form shall be accompanied by the Dec-laration of Parent/Guardian.

2015 Europe and Africa Open Waterski Championships Declaration, Waiver and Release Form

For, and in consideration of, the International Waterski and Wakeboard Federation (the IWWF) accepting my application, and permitting me, to participate and compete in the 2015 Europe and Africa Open Waterski Championships held in Choisy-le-Roi Paris France, from the 19th of August till the 23rd of August 2015 (the Championships), I, the undersigned, for and on behalf of myself, my heirs, executors and admin-istrators, do hereby irrevocably and unconditionally warrant, represent and undertake to the IWWF as follows: 1. Any and all information provided and/or disclosed by, or on behalf of, myself to the IWWF (including any officers, employees and representatives thereof) for the purpose of considering and evaluating my application for participation and competition in the Championships is true, correct and accurate; 2. I have fully read and understood the rules and regulations of participation and competition in the Championships (a copy of which has been made available to me) and I do hereby covenant with, and un-dertake to, the IWWF to at all-time fully comply with, and abide by, the same; 3. I am in good physical and mental health and I am physically capable of competing and participating, and fully competent to participate and compete, as a competitor in the Championships and that I have not been certified and/or advised otherwise by any qualified medical practitioner; 4. I do hereby authorize any and all physicians, paramedics and other medical personnel and practitioners procured by, or on behalf of, the IWWF to administer first aid treatment or any medical treatment, sur-gery or transportation in the event of any illness, accident or injury suffered and/or sustained by me at any time during my participation and competition in the Championships (or any part thereof) and hereby indemnify, and shall keep fully and effectively indemnified, the IWWF (including all officers, employees and representatives thereof) upon demand from and against any and all claims, liabilities, demands, costs and expenses of whatsoever nature incurred and/or suffered by the same (or any of them) and arising from, and/or in connection with, the procurement and administration of such medical treatment and transportation in relation to any such illness accident or injury suffered and/or sustained by me; 5. I acknowledge, agree and confirm that participating and/or competing as a competitor in the Champi-onships (or any part thereof) involves inherent risks and dangers of accidents, personal and bodily injury and property loss or damage and that by signing and completing this Declaration, Waiver and Release Form, I fully understand and have considered and evaluated the nature, scope and extent of the risks involved, and voluntarily and freely choose to assume these risks;

I hereby grant to the IWWF (including its lawful successors and assigns) the sole and exclusive right and license, in perpetuity and throughout the world and without any compensation whatsoever to me, to use, reproduce, publish and/or exploit, my name, nickname, likeness, image, logos, get-ups, initials, voice, slogan and signatures developed from time to time, reputation, graphical representation, electronic, ani-mated or computer generated representation and any other representation (in any medium whatsoever), right of association, biographical information and other indicia, and any other right or property in my performances, in any media whatsoever, for any purposes whatsoever relating to, and/or in connection with, the IWWF and/or the Championships (or any part thereof) and I shall do all such things (including, without limitation, the execution of appropriate legal documentation) as the IWWF may, from time to time, require to give legal and binding effect to the aforementioned grant of rights; 7. I irrevocably acknowledge, agree and confirm that the IWWF reserves the right, at its sole and absolute discretion, to disqualify me from participation and/or competition in the Championships (or any part thereof) if I am in breach of any of the warranties, representations and/or undertakings set out in this Declaration, Waiver and Release Form and/or for any reason whatsoever the IWWF considers just and proper, and in the event of any such disqualification, I shall not be entitled to any compensation of any nature whatsoever from the IWWF. 8. IWWF Anti-Doping Rules, including but not limited to, all amendments to the Anti-Doping Rules and all International Standards incorporated in the Anti-Doping Rules.

3. I acknowledge and agree that IWWF has jurisdiction to impose sanctions as provided

in the IWWF Anti-Doping Rules.

4.
