Mr. Thomas stated that, in accordance with the understanding

Mr. James called attention to the memoranda submitted by the

After a discussion of the procedure whichShould be followed in acting upon the proposedsalary adjustments, it was voted to approve,effective April 16, 1935, all salary increasesrecommended by the majority of the executivecomnittee, and the increases recommended bythe division heads which were not approved bythe majority of the committee were referredback to the committee for further considerationafter giving the head of each division con-cerned an opportunity to be heard.
