    The

    -playing

    fields

    cover

    acres,

    comprise

    cricket,

    and sports

    grounds.

    BUILDINCS.

    The

    school

    buildings

    are

    commodious.

    There

    are, in

    addition

    to

    the

    usual classrooms,

    an

    assembly

    hall,

    library,

    handcraft

    centre,

    physical

    and chemical

    laboratories.

    BOARDING

    HOUSES.

    There are

    three boarding-houses, each

    of

    which

    will

    accom-

    modate

    70

    boarders.

    The

    discipline

    and management

    of

    each

    house

    are

    in

    the

    hands

    of a housemaster

    and

    an assistant

    house-

    master.

    The

    domestic

    arrangements

    are under

    the

    jmmediate

    control

    of a

    matron.

    Superintendent.

    The fees

    for

    the

    current

    term

    should be

    paid

    within

    the first fortnight of term. No

    boy

    may return to

    a boarding-house

    if his fees for the

    previous

    term

    are

    in

    arrear.

    Pocket

    money should

    not

    be

    given

    in

    cash

    to

    boys;

    itshould

    be sent by

    cheque,

    postal

    money

    order

    SUPERINTENDENT.

    A

    detailed

    statement of

    disbursements

    will

    be furnished if

    desired.

    Pocket money must not be included in

    SCHOOL

    COLOURS.

    The

    School Colours

    are

    navy

    blue

    and orange. Mr. Tod

    Euttie, Kerk

    Street,

    Potchefstroom,

    stocks school ties, badges,

    football

    jerseys

    and

    stockings.

    The School

    blazer

    is

    a

    striped

    one,

    but

    owing

    to

    the difficulty

    of

    obtaining

    the

    required cloth,

    a

    navy blue blazet

    with

    the blazer

    badge

    may

    be substituted.

    CAMES.

    Crieket, Rugby,

    Athletics

    and

    Swimming

    are all

    organized

    under

    the supervision

    of

    masters; and

    further

    physical

    develop-

    ment is

    encouraged

    through

    physical

    training

    periods

    during

    school

    hours.

    The

    Cadet

    Detachment,

    besides

    the usual

    training,

    has a

    special

    artillery

    section

    and brass

    band.

    All

    boys must take

    part

    in

    all extra-mural

    activities.

    ABSENCE.

    No

    boarder

    who

    has

    bEen

    absent

    at

    any time

    without

    authority

    may return

    without

    permissilon

    of

    the

    Head

    Master.

    ,

    FRIENDS

    AND

    VISITS.

    Boar{ers

    are

    not allowed

    to visit

    friends

    in

    the

    town without

    special

    le4ve.

    Parents

    and

    guardians

    should

    inform the

    house-

    master of

    :the

    names

    and

    addresses

    of

    friends

    whom

    their

    boys

    may

    be

    aflowed

    to

    visit. Boys

    have

    Town

    Leave

    on

    Saturday

    mornings.

    No

    boy

    is

    allowed

    outside

    the

    School

    grounds

    unless
