This kit was developed based on the measurements below, which were takenfrom a 1969 Dodge Charger core support.
This modification was developed based on the measurements below, which weretaken from a 1969 Dodge Coronet without A/C, with 318 engine core support.

Disconnect battery.
Remove battery (retain).
Drain radiator.
Remove radiator mounting bolts (discard) and replace with 1/4-20 x 1/2” hex bolts and 1/4” flat washers.

NOTE: Before starting the installation, check the function of the vehicle (horn, lights, etc.) for properoperation, and study the instructions, illustrations, & diagrams.
Mounting Bracket Installation1. Install condenser mounting brackets onto condenser using (4) 10-24 x 3/8” pan head screws and (4) 10-24 nuts with star washers as shown in Figure 1, below.

Install drier clamps onto drier.
Attach drier to passenger side condenser bracket assembly weld studs, and secure with (2) 10-24 nuts with star washers. NOTE: Refrigerant flow through drier is IN from condenser, OUT to evaporator.

Lubricating O-rings For a proper seal of fittings: Install supplied O-rings as shown, and lubricate with supplied oil.
NOTE: Standard torque specifications:#6: 11 to 13 ft-lb.#8: 15 to 20 ft-lb.

1. Lubricate (2) #6 O-rings as shown in Figure 3, Page 6. Install #6 drier/condenser hardline as shown in Figure 4, below. Tighten fittings as shown in Figure 3, Page 6.

1. Install (4) 5/16” nylon spacers on passenger and driver side condenser bracket weld studs as shown below.

1. Install condenser assembly in front of core support as shown in Figure 5, below.
2. Insert weld studs into OEM slots on front of core support, and secure with (4) 1/4” hex nuts and (4) 1/4” flat washers as shown in Figure 6, below. NOTE: Big block core support is shown below. If vehicle has small block or 6-cylinder core support, either refer to dimensions on Page 4 to drill (2) 5/16” holes in core support, or do the following: Insert weld studs on driver side condenser bracket into OEM slots on core support. Align top edge of condenser assembly such that it’s parallel with bottom edge of upper core support rail, and scribe the location of the passenger side condenser bracket weld studs onto the core support. Using these marks, drill (2) 5/16” holes in core support, and insert passenger side condenser bracket weld studs. Secure with (4) 1/4” hex nuts and (4) 1/4” flat washers.

Lubricate a #6 O-ring as shown in Figure 3, Page 6. Install the #6 drier/core hardline as shown in Figure 7,below. Tighten fittings as shown in Figure 3, Page 6.
Lubricate a #8 O-ring as shown in Figure 3, Page 6. Install the #8 condenser hardline as shown in Figure 8,below. Tighten fittings as shown in Figure 3, Page 6.

Install a #2 Adel clamp on the #6 drier/core hardline, and a #4 Adel clamp on the #8 condenser hardline.Using the OEM hole on top of the core support, install a 10-32 x 3/4” pan head screw and a 10-32 nut with starwasher to secure the hardlines as shown below. NOTE: Some core supports may not have the OEM hole.In this case, measure 1” from the edge, and drill a 3/16” hole through the top of the core support.
