Respondent, Atty. ERNESTO DE Los sANTos, through theundersigned counsel, respectfully states, thus:

1. on september 20, 20 1 1 , the respondent received a copyof the Order from this Honorable Office dated September 13, 2O1lordering him to answer the complaint filed by herein complainantJuliewhyn R. Quindoza, arising from the alleged acts oflasciviousness, respondent allegedly committed Lgainst herdaughter, Mergarett Veronica De Los Santos;

2. To inform the Honorable Office, as to the incidents whichtranspired pertinent to the instant complaint, respondent submittedthe instant manifestation;

3. Mergarett veronica De Los Santos recently madecommunications with herein respondent expressing her care,gratitude and love to herein respondent as well as her remorse forthe wrong decisions she made;

4. Mergarett Veronica graduated this March, 2014 from St.Louis University obtaining the degree of Business Administrationand in this milestone, she never failed to remember her father, theherein respondent. Mergarett sent her graduation picture to herfather (herein respondent) indicating at the back of said picture thismessage, thus:

"Dear Papa,

I know the past 4 years have been awhirlwind for all of us. But a day never passedby without me thinking of you: if you are okay,and if you are thinking of me too. I miss you somuch. In those 4 years, I think I lost a father.But now, I stil1 do believe that our paths willcross. I am sorry for the wrong decisions I havemade. I love you.

5. Also, in the recent exchange of text messages betweenMergarett and her sister, Julien Helen De Los Santos, Mergarettwas sorry for what her mother (Juliewhyn euindoza) and ninangEmily De Leon did to her father, who is herein respondent.Mergarett also disclosed the reason behind, the array of cases filedby her mother against her father. The following is the exchange oftheir conversation, thus:

Julien Helen:You know I don't hate your mom pero dahil sadesisyon niya ginamit kanila to go against our fatherand to tell lies about us your family na at the endnakasama pa sayo hindi sa mum moo..Nagpadalasiya sa pera..We may not be a perfect family but we love each otherthe way we know how which is always unconditional.

6. Furthermore, last April 7, 2014, Mergarett Veronica DeLos Santos wrote a personai letter addressed to herein respondent.The full text of her letter is quoted as follows:
