The following DRAFT 0RD1NANCE is made public prior to enactment in accord­ance with Article \l(l)(d) of the Palestine Order in Council, 1922, as amended, by Article 3 of the Palestine {Amendment) Order in Council, 1923.

D R A F T . A N O R D I N A N C E TO A M E N D T H E S T E A M B O I L E R S O R D I N A N C E .

B E I T E N A C T E D by the High Commissioner for Palestine, with the. advice of the Advisory Council thereof : — 1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Steam Boilers (Amendment) Short title.

Ordinance, 1944, and shall be read as one with the Steam Boilers Ordinance, hereinafter referred to as "the principal Ordinance". Cap. 134.

2. Subsection (1) of section 5 of the principal Ordinance shall be Amendment of amended by the substitution of the expression "Director, Department section 5 of of Labour" for the expression "Director of Public.Works" appearing the principal therein. Ordinance.

3. Section 8 of the principal Ordinance shall be amended by the Amendment of substitution of the expression "Director, Department of Labour" for section 8 of the expression "Director of Public Works" appearing therein. the principal

Ordinance.

Notice is hereby given that at a meeting of the Board of Directors held on 2nd May, 1944, it was resolved that Mr. Jack Meyer Gering, Mr. Ellie Allan Kirschner and Mr. Abraham Levy, Directors of the Company, each of them separately, is hereby authorised to represent the company before all Land Registries in Pal­estine relating to mortgages made or to be made in favour of the company, viz., to ac­cept mortgages, to release and discharge mort­gages in whole or in part, to amend, alter, correct or supplement mortgages, transfer mortgages, to acknowledge the receipt of moneys or other consiederation, and generally to execute, sign and do in the name of the company before all Land Registries in Pales­tine such applications, deeds, declarations and other things in relation to mortgages made or to be made in favour of the company, as each of them in his capacity as Director of the com­pany may think fit. ־

It was resolved at the extraordinary general meeting of the company which was held on the 26th April, 1944, to appoint Mr. Josef Aver­buch as director in addition to the directors of the company, Mr. Moritz Leitner and Mr. Leo Schoener. The joint signatures of two of the abovementioned three directors shall bind the company.

Orders with regard to the administration of the estate of deceased persons or probate of wills, and any orders issued under the Companies Ordinance, or in accordance with any other Ordinance or Order of the Court, and notices of registration. and dissolution of partnerships will not be inserted unless passed for publication by the Court or Registrar.

Notices of dissolution of partnerships will not be accepted unless signed by the partners named therein or by their legal representatives.
