DISASSEMBLY OF THE LLAMA.9 MM. PARABELLUM

The LLAMA piSTOl is quite easily taken apart: the parts mentioned In

the following instruction refer to those described and Illustrated inspare drawing.

Press the magazine catch (0 1461with your left thumb and takeout the magazine (H 182)

2 Press the plug (0 139), the grooved face of which can be seen un-der the mouth of the barrel and. at the same time. turn the barrelbushing (0 136J towards the right hand side of the frame, so careshould be taken, as the barrel (H 184) spring back violent Iv when

the barrel bushing (0 136) is released

3 Move the slide IH 183) back until the notch on the slide stop on

Put the barrel (H 184) right inside the slide (H 183) Place the

barrel bushing m 136) by turning It Y2 to the right of the slide.

Introduce the recoil spring sub-assembly (H 177) and the recoilspring guide 10 138), being careful to place the recoil springguide In its housing in the barrel.

2 Holding the slide !H 183) with your left hand and restraming the

recoil spring guide (0 138) with your thumb, place the slide (H183) In the frame (H 188) along Its gUide rails, making the barrel(H 184) fit Into ItS housing in the frame.

3 Push the slide (H 183) backwards, introducing the slide stop pin(0 137) into the hole In the frame, placing the slide in such a way

that the prolongation or nose of the slide stop (0 137) coincides

with Its housing on the slide, pushing with your left thumb unWthe slide stop m 137), IS placed m Its housing in the frame. To dothiS, the resIstance of the slide stop plunger m 153) must beovercome.

4 Placing the slide (H 183) in its normal position put the plug (0

139) on the recoil spring (H 1771. Turn the barrel bushing (0136) to the left. pressing the plug m 139\ downwards untrl thebarrel bushing m 136) can be placed in .ts normal position

5 Check that the s!lde-barrel sub-assembly slides smoothly on the

frame guides (H 188) Insert the magazine (H 182) again Theweapon is ready for use.

Oprimir con el dedo pulgar de la mano izquierda al pestillo de re-tenida del cargador (0 14m y sacar el cargador (H 182)

2 Oprimir el tubo resorte recuperador (0 139) Que asoma su cara

rayada debajo de la boca del canon y girar srnultimearnente hacJael lado derecho del armazon la pIela manguito de canon (0136) que abraza la punta del caPlan, cu.dando Que la piela canon(H 1841 no salte con violencl8 al perder ~u estribo del manguitode cai\6n ID 1361

3 Desplazar el carrojo (H 183) hacia atras hasta que la muesca de la

patanca de retenida en ef cerrojo se situe frente a la rrolongaci6n 0pico,de palanca de retenida (0 13n hacienda Que esta prolonga-cion penetre en la muesca d~1 cerroja, venCtendo la preSion delpiton apoyo retenida (0 153) y oprimiendo por ellado derechodel armaz6n al vastago de la palanca retenida (0 137) hasta sucompleto desmontaje

4 Oesplazar el carrojo (H 183) hacla adelante y saldr~n, can el ca-I\on (H 184~. el resorte recuperador (H 177) y la guia resorterecuperador (0 138). Extraiganse unidas estas ultimas pardetras. Girese la pleza manguito canon (0 136) hacla ellado iz-

quierdo del cerrojo y desmontese. EIcanon (H 184) es1ara en po-

sicion de desmontarse.

5 Las cachas (0 180) se sueltan can un sencllfo destornillador

Limplese la pistola con cepillo, usando un dlsolvente de Ilmpiela y

lubrifiQue Ilgeramente las partes. No desarme mas el arma

MONTAJE DE LA PISTOLA LLAMACAL. 9 MM. PARABELLUM

Meter el canon IH 184) compfetamente dentro del cerrojo !H1831. Situar la pieza manguito de canon (0 136) glrandola Y]

vuelta hacia la derecha del cerrojo. Introducir el sub-conjunto deresorte .(ecuperador (H 177) y guia resorte recuperador (0138), cUldando de posicionar la guia resorte recuperador en suasentamiento de! canon.

2 Sujetando el cerrojo (H 183) con la mana izquierda y con ef dedopulgar apoyandolo en la guia del resorte recuperador (D 138),introducir el cerrojo (H 183) en la piela armaz6n (H 188~a travesde sus gulas, hacienda Que fa pieza can6n (H 184) apoye en sualojamiento del armazon

3 Empujar el cerrojo (H 183) hacia atras, introducir el vastago de fapalanca de retenida (0 137) en el agujero del armazon, situando

el cerrojo de forma Que la prolongacion 0 pico de la palanca deretenida m 137) coinclda en su alojamiento del cerrojo y

empu-jando con el dedo pulgar de la mano iZQuierda hasta introducir to-

talmente la palanca de retenida (0 1371. Para ello debera ven-cerse la resistencia del mueUe del piton apoyo retenida 10 153)

4 Llevando el cerrojo (H 183) a su posicion normal, rntrodUCIr en elresorte recuperador (H 177) la piela tube resorte recuperador(0 139), Glrar el manguito de can6n (0 136) haCia la parte iz-

quierda, presionando la pieza tube resorte recuperador (0 139~hacia abajo hasta lograr Que el manguito de canon 10 136) glre asu posicion normal

5 Comprobar que ef sub-conjunto cerrojo-can6n se deslila suave-mente a traves de las gulas de la pieza armaz6n (H 1881. Insertarnuevamente el cargador !H 182) EI arma esta a punta para sufunclonamlento.

OPERATION OF THE LLAMA PISTOL

TO lOAD:depress the magazine catch which is located immediatelybehind the trigger. This will unlock the magazine.

To hll the magazine. place the cartridges so that the bullet ends arepositioned over the leading edge of the follower. Fill the magazine tocapacity .

Now take the loaded magazine and slide .t back into the Jodgmng tra-me. When magazine is pressed firmly tnto positionyou should hear adistinct «clicb which indicates that it is locked in place.

TO FIRE: while the magazine ISnow loaded, the gun cannot be madeto fire until a cartridge is fed Into the chamber. To accomplish thiS,hold the gun in a firingattitude (do not touch the trigger and be care-ful to pOint it in a safe dIrection) and, with the thumb and foregingerof tt.,eopposite hand, grasp the grooved rearsurfaces of the slide(un-der the rear sight) and pull back firmly. Upon releasing the slidecartridge wilt be lifted from the magazine and loaded into the cham.ber.

CAUTION: the weapon is now in a firing attItude with the hammer inthe full.cock position. BE SURE TO ENGAGE THE SIDE SAFETYIF YOU DO NOT INTEND TO SHOOT.

SAFETY DEVICES: the LLAMA automatic p,stolls made wIth threepositive safety devices. First, it has a grip safety which, when thehammer is in the half-cock or full-cock position, will prevent dischargeexcept when deliberately grasped in a firing attitude. Next, It has ahalf -cock safety position which will prevent discharge even with pres-sure exerted upon the trigger. Finally, it has a sidelever safety whichprevents firing under any Circumstances as long as the hammer is inhalf.cock or full-cock.

MAINTENANCE

All movil par~s should be coated lightly.

SAFETY PRECAUTIONS

Before proceeding to use this weapon, a word of caution ISin order.This gun is as safe to handle and use' as we can make it. There aremany safety rules but those found below are basIc and should be ob-served rigidly.

2 Beware of obstructions in the barrel. If, when firing, a weak or pe-culiar report IS heard, cease firing at once and inspect the barrelfor an obstruction.

4 Wh.en the handgun IS In a ready poSItion, be absolutely certainthat it is nat pointing at any part of yourself or the persons ofothers who are in your immediate vicinity.

5 Do not shoot at hard surfaces or at the surface of water etc.. suchsurfaces will invariably cause erratic ricochets.

6 Unloaded gun when not In use.

FUNCIONAMIENTO DEL ARMA

PARA CARGAR: Presionar el Pestillo de retenlda del Cargador Queesta situado debajo del dtsparador. Esta operaci6n desbloqueara elCargador de su alojamiento.Para Ilenar el Cargador, colocar los cartuchos de forma Que el extremode la valna se situe contra la pared interior del cargador. Llene la car-tuchera completamenteCoger el cargador montado e introducirlo en su alojamlento del Arma.z6n. Cuando el cargador se introduce, se debera air un sontdo «click.Que indica su correcta posiclonamlento.

PARA DISPARAR: Aunque el cargador este montado, el arma nopodra dlsparar hasta Que el cartucho este alojado en la recamara. Paraconseguir esto, sujete el arma en Ja pos1cl6n de dlsparo (no toque eldtsparador y cerci6rese de apuntar en una dlrecci6n fuera de peligro) y

MANTENIMIENTO

1 Todas las partes m6viles deben ser hgeramente engrasadas

2 limpie el can6n y la recamara despues del dlsparo. La formac16nde reslduos en la recflmara puede causar fallos de funcionamien-to, debtdo a! hecho de que el cartucho no se aloja completamenteen la recamara.

3 No es recomendable el reallzar disparos en va-cio, es decir, sin mu.nlci6n, ya Que ello puede danar la aguja percutora.

4 Si mantiene Inactlva el arma durante largo tiempo, es convenlenteengrasar el Intenor y exterior del arma, Ilgeramente.
