In the academic year 2004 /2005, all foundation programs had been activated and joined together in the Foundation Programs unit for all Qatar University Faculties (Engineering college, Arts & Sciences college, Business & Economics college and Law college).
The mission of the Foundation Program is to prepare and equip high schools graduates with English, Mathematics, and Computer skills that help and qualify them for admission and move to their respective colleges and programs.

The section is responsible for the welfare of the students who are sponsored by Qatar University, whether they study on their own expenses, or have an Outside Scholarships to study for Bachelor degree, or have an Arabic Program for the Non-Native Speakers scholarship. Our goal is providing the international students an excellent experience while they are studying at Qatar University.
