Programme Ideas

• Sat – Travel to site and set up camp.

• Sun – ‘Do as you like day!!’ Explore site.

• Mon – Fish Farm, Backwards competition meal.

• Tues – Kinder scout hike.

• Wed – Hike to rock climbing and archery

• Thur – Jodrell Bank visit

• Fri – Billie bashing, caving, hill top fish and chips

• Sat – Break Camp & Travel homeThere are morning, afternoon and evening activities on every day.

Activities

• We always aim to offer a good range of

scouting skill and activities.

• These can be based on site or off site at

an activity centre.

• We always use the appropriate instructors

for activities we are completing.

• We hope that all the scouts learn new

skills and push their boundaries.

• Each Patrol will participate in the

competition meal.

• They will prepare and cook a three course

meal over a fire in a four hour slot.

• This includes all washing up and clearing

away.

• This is a separate competition but points

do contribute towards the main

competition.

numbers.

We have enough equipment for 4 Patrol sites.

Menu

• Our menu as always, will consist of

healthy and energy boosting foods.

• We usually have two hot meals a day plus

a cold lunch or breakfast, plus a hot drink

and snack before bed.

• Any specific dietary considerations will be

taken into account for individuals

• We ask everyone to bring a cake for

supper.

Tuck Shop/Camp Bank• £20.00 Max pocket money

• Paid into Camp Bank before camp.

• Tuck shop – we take this with us and it is

available everyday subject to good

behaviour and pocket money deducted

direct from bank.

• Cash issued on days out as appropriate.

• Surplus returned to Scout after camp.

• 7 night camp

• Including all food, travel, camp fees,

activities.

• Approx £240.00

• Deposit due Feb 1st (£80:00 – Non refundable)

• Installments March 1st (£80.00) April 5th(£80:00

+ £20:00 Pocket Money)
