The  color  code  can  clearly  be  spo/ed.  Black-­‐grey  and  red.  This  choice  gives  the  sophis9cated  touch  needed  to  appeal  the  target  audience  and  portray  their  needs  and  wants  through  what  they  connote.  Black:  elegance,  formality  and  power.  Red:  energy,  strength,  power,  determina9on  and  sensuality.  

The  main  image  builds  up  successfully  onto  the  9tle’s  meaning  with  the  work  out  pose  he  is  in,  as  well  as  with  his  sculpted  figure.  This  main  image  is  posi5oned  so  that  it  leads  onto  the  main  text.  Moreover,  the  model  is  establishing  a  direct  mode  of  address  looking  at  the  reader  directly  into  his  eyes,  making  him  feel  more  ac5vely  involved,  and  therefore  incremen9ng  his  experience  reading  the  ar9cle.  

We  can  appreciate  a  boxed  text  in  the  upper  leF  corner,  following  the  color  code  men9oned.  It  contains  a  small  pick-­‐out  of  important  informa9on  from  the  actual  ar9cle  (pull  quote),  to  give  it  emphasis  and  catch  the  reader’s  a/en9on  to  draw  him  into  reading  more.    The  white  background  directs  the  reader’s  a/en9on  to  the  main  image,  which  has  the  purpose  of  seducing  him  along  with  the  ar9cle’s  9tle,  and  in  this  way,  inducing  the  reader  into  the  main  text  where  he  will  submerge.    The  layout  as  a  whole  is  pre/y  simple  and  effec9ve,  providing  altogether  an  elegant  and  invi9ng  view  to  reader  and  maintaining  the  sophis5ca5on  of  “Men’s  Fitness”  brand  image.
