Courtyard - Exterior Designed by an Indigenous architect, the courtyard will feature a central fire for Indigenous ceremonies. All learners will be able to gather round the fire to share stories and learn from each other. Indigenous medicines and plants will be growing throughout the courtyard and will be used to share cultural teachings with the College community. Gathering Circle - C100a Moveable walls provide either a private or public environment for gatherings. All learners and guests are welcome to use this area for cultural ceremonies and teachings. Indigenous Commons – C100 A functional space that will meet the needs of all learners from the entire college community. Indigenous artifacts and surroundings reflect natural elements from the unceded territory of the Algonquin People. The roof of the building is a green roof made with Indigenous plants that grow naturally in local communities. Collaborative Learning Space - C102 A comfortable place for students to study and meet with their classmates, open 24/7. It has plenty of power outlets and many tables are equipped with desktop computers. Energy Innovation Centre - C107 Part classroom, part meeting space, part showcase, this room highlights and celebrates the College’s ongoing efforts to continue its leadership in sustainability. The room displays real-time data on energy production, energy usage, and a variety of other variables pertaining to sustainable operations. Gathering Hub - C126 This area is available to the entire Algonquin community. It will be a venue space open to all college employees where they can host events and activities related to the College. Employee Innovation Hub This space provides a one-stop solution where employees can meet their learning and technology needs from peers and specialists and ignite creativity and innovation. This cluster of support includes: G1 - Centre for Continuing and Online Learning / LTS Audio/Video Recording Studio (C112a) G2 - Learning Management System Help (C123a) G3 - Information Technology Services (C123b) G4 - Centre for Organizational Learning (C121) G5 - Learning and Teaching Services (C122) Energy Research Lab – C124 Research and learning laboratory for activities focused on sustainable uses of energy. Social Innovation Lab - C125 This lab will work within the framework of the UN Sustainable Development Goals for 2030 and provide opportunities for students and employees to work with our community in the public good. The Lab is also home to SLiDE (Service Learning in Design and Engineering), a new program focused on exposing students in design and engineering disciplines to the broader social sector. User Experience Lab - C128 This lab conducts user experience research and user interface design activities including usability testing. The lead research program is the Digital College Research Lab which is exploring the use of digital technologies in post-secondary education. Indigenizing Entrepreneurship Area - C251A space where all learners can come together and work on entrepreneurial projects and activities embedded with Indigenous knowledge.

Student Collaboration Space/Library Research Desk - C250 A comfortable place for students to study and meet with their classmates, open 24/7. It has plenty of power outlets and many tables are equipped with desktop computers.

Peer Tutoring Lab - C259 Provides one-on-one support in course-specific material. Students who are having difficulties with a class are matched with trained student tutors who have done well in that class. Tutoring appointments take place in this room.

Learning Support Lab – C260 Students can get help with key subject areas in the coaching space of the Student Learning Centre (SLC). Coaches provide support in the fundamentals of writing, ESL, math, computers, and anatomy at no charge to students.

Presentation Studio - C262 This studio provides tools and space to practice and record presentations. It is equipped with multimedia equipment and a moveable green wall.

Digital Literacy Lab – C263The Library partner with other areas to offer workshops in this room. Workshops cover a variety of digital and information literacy topics, including study skills, research skills, computer skills and more.

Data Analytics Centre - C270Helps companies adopt and develop solutions for Big Data-related technologies and business practices. Algonquin’s data initiative is the first of its kind in the Canadian college system, and works with local and national partners to apply data-integration and machine learning for predictive analysis in the form of distributed cloud intelligence.

Cybersecurity - C271The Lab features a stand-alone network and an isolating partition to allow red team/blue-team penetration testing of network architecture or applications. It is utilized in both teaching and applied research activities.

DARE Innovation CentreCultivates an ecosystem of people, programs, and partnerships that offers students, employees and alumni experiential learning with a focus on developing their innovation skills, entrepreneurial endeavors and an entrepreneurial mindset. Library Collections - C360 and C361Two shelving areas house the Library’s in-house collection of books and DVDs. The Library has over 35,000 books in-house, with a larger collection online. The collection is equipped with a new self-checkout system for borrowing.

Quiet Study - C350Students can study quietly in this comfortable, quiet space. Whispering is allowed, but technology must have the volume turned off. Open 24/7 and is equipped with power outlets.

Library Research Desk - C350Staff can help with longer research questions and offer more help searching the Library’s extensive collection.

Collaborative Learning Space - C350A comfortable place for students to study and meet with their classmates, open 24/7. It has plenty of power outlets and many tables are equipped with desktop computers.

Library Main Desk - C350At this desk, Library staff members provide basic library help, circulate technology, monitor printers, process payments, and resolve issues.

Silent Study Space - C365An individual study area where students can study on their own, without distraction. It has single seating with privacy panels. This is a silent space, so talking is not permitted, and technology must have the volume turned off. Open 24/7 and is equipped with power outlets.
