OBJECTIVE: Students will learn how to pick a topic. Sometime they will be assigned a topic and other times they

will pick their own. Students will focus on what they know and give details showing all they know. For those just

beginning to write they details will be in the picture that accompanies their writing.

ASSESSMENT: After listening to the story “When I Am Old with You,” Students will create a well put together

sentence about what they like to do with their favorite person. Drawings done to accompany work will be very

detailed to create a clear picture of the scene.
