E-Health inKenya isgainingand increasingattention in the lightofthe Presidential Big Four and 2017 Health Act. There is already averyfriendlybusinessenvironmentforthedevelopmentofvariouse-health initiatives, like telemedicine, electronic medical records,hospital information systems etc. However, the operationalisationand implementation of already existing policies and availabletechnologiesisalwaysachallenge,asinmanyothercountriesintheworld.In this light, Poland, who is undergoing a digital transformation inhealthcare and facesmany similar challenges can be an interestingpartner for Kenya – not only on the government level to exchangeregulatory experience, but also on a medical and business level toestablishvaluablebusiness linksandscientificcooperationbetweenthecountries.From the regulatory perspective especially interesting can be thefollowing topics: e-health regulations and strategy, regionalplatforms, e-prescription, e-referral, the use of the public cloud,GDPR (EU General Data Protection Regulation). We aim atexchanging thestrategies,bestpractices, successand failurestoriesbetweentheregulatorsfrombothcountries.Fromthebusinessandmedicalstandpointweseethehugepotentialto utilize polish technologies and experience in many e-healthinitiatives in Kenya. We believe that Polish and Kenyanentrepreneurswillencounteraveryfertilegroundforcollaborationintheimplementationoftheirinnovativee-healthsolutions.Throughthisproposedconference,wewouldliketoengagebothsidestohelpthemestablishvaluablelinksbetweeneachotherthatwouldleadtomanysuccessfulcommonventures.
