DX conditions here i n t he Northeast continue t o be very good. We noted what we f e e l was the most unusual night f o r long-distance reception ever encountered on MM 1115-6. On most memorable DX nights, receptions i s usually enhanced from only a few areas of the globe - good European nights, good U nights, good TP nights, etc. Not S O On

1115-6: on t h a t memorable night, unusually good reception was noted from m o p e , Scandinavia. llest and South Africa, Latin America, Deep South America, and the Pacific area. Only the d i s t an t Neareast and Far East areas were not conspicuously i n , althouf' i t 's l i k e l y t h a t we had the Japanese ou t le t on 750 a t times. m, Mass., noted very good TA reception on 1115-6, although he too noted a ra ther high noise leve l over most of the band. Referring t o t he "hot period" 10/21-10/26, Bengt Ericoon. Sweden. notes "During the weekend 21 - 22 October t he TA reception was very good.
