2017HIGHLIGHTS
APPLICANT TRACKING SYSTEM INTEGRATIONSDISA is committed to helping make our clients lives easier whenever possible. As part of that commitment, DISA has integrated with multiple applicant tracking systems to create a more seamless employee onboarding experience. This also reduces redundant login processes, and can simplify your workflows.
EXPANDED GEOGRAPHIC REACHDISA acquired 5 new companies in 2017 that strengthen our client offerings and capabilities in the Midwest, Mid-Atlantic and Gulf Coast regions. With the addition of 15 mandated owner sites, DISA is accepted or mandated by more than 250 owners throughout the US. This means your employees have a simplified process for drug testing & background checks, while resulting in wider access to facilities.
CUSTOMER SUPPORT TEAM GROWTHDISA has more than doubled the size of the sales support & customer service teams in 2017. We are attentive to the entire customer experience ranging from ordering, through invoicing, and every touchpoint in between. Our team is fully committed to consistently serving and supporting our customers, to that point we have invested in additional personnel and technology, as well as implemented proactive strategies. These additions provided more points of access for clients. Our focus continues to be on ways to increase client satisfaction.
SUCCESSFUL IMPLEMENTATION OF NEW POLICIES Every year DISA helps clients understand and meet a host of new regulatory and policy changes. In 2017, DISA oversaw policy implementations for new regulatory changes that affected NASAP, DOT, HHS, and FRA MOW clients. DISA continues to be a leading provider of regulatory analysis and ongoing communication of how upcoming changes affect our clients.
PAPERLESS INITIATIVESDISA is committed to developing solutions to make the complex screening process quicker, easier, and more efficient. Our clients are afforded the ease and efficiency of electronic Custody and Control form (eCCF) and electronic Consent Forms (eConsent). In 2017, we saw 1 in 4 clients adopt eCCF and eConsent processes, and they have begun enjoying the benefits of a quicker, easier drug testing program.
WHAT IS THE DCC?The DISA Contractors Consortium (DCC) manages the multitude of workplace screening requirements that contractor companies must meet to work at safety-focused worksites across the Energy Sector. The DCC manages reciprocal policies and programs around the special requirements of various owners, operators, safety councils or federal regulatory agencies. This unique ability reduces job-hopping and mitigates the need for multiple programs. The DCC makes compliance easier to manage and more cost effective.
The DCC is divided into two categories: Upstream and Downstream. Upstream includes Exploration and Production, Pipeline Terminaling and Distribution, while Downstream includes Refining, Petrochemical, and Chemical. These consortiums manage the urine-based testing requirements, as well as emerging trends and methodologies like hair testing, oral fluid testing and background screening for multiple owners and operators across the Energy Sector.
DCC
EXPANSION Exploration & Production
Used by E&P owners and contractors, and covers both onshore and offshore operations. This consortium also manages contractor compliance to federally regulated DOT requirements.

2017 CONSORTIUM ROLLOUTS
OWNER LOCATION # OF CONTRACTOR COMPANIES
When the DCC is chosen to manage contractor compliance for an owner/operator, DISA’s first job is to rollout or implement the program across the contractors that are subject to the program’s requirements. Each rollout can involve hundreds of contractor companies and thousands of their employees.
Our rollout process is an effective way for the owner/operator to implement and manage their contractor workforce, while making it easier for contractors to remain compliant with the employee screening requirements of multiple owner/operators.
