Deputy Chairman, IAIS Executive Committee, Board MemberDr. Adel Mounir Rabeh is the Deputy Chairman of Egyptian Financial Supervisory Authority (since 2009 ). He is the former Chairman of the Egyptian Insurance Supervisory Authority (2005-2009 ) as well as the former Chairman of the Arab Forum of Insurance Regulatory Commissions, he is the Deputy chairman of the IAIS Market Conduct committee and regulations, Board Member of the IAIS Executive Committee, Board Member of Access to Insurance Initiative, Board Member of Trustees of Sadat Academy, Board Member of African Reinsurance Corporation, Founder and board member of the Egyptian Society for risk management. He has been a part of various other insurance companies and associations. Dr. Adel Mounir Rabeh hold a PhD in Insurance and Risk Management from
College of Commerce, Cairo, Egypt. He has been an active participant in issuing the compulsory motor insurance law in Egypt and its executive regulations, issuing Market Conduct measures and regulations, modernizing the insurance supervising law in Egypt to cope with international standards, preparing a draft law on supervision of health insurance, preparing a draft law for enhancing the supervisory system of insurance and pension funds, preparing a strategic plan for shifting towards risk- based supervision. He has developed an extensive experience in solvency regulatory issues. His areas of interest include, Risk management, Risk based supervision , market conduct and solvency of insurance companies. Dr. Rabeh is responsible for coordinating efforts on regional and international
implementation of international supervisory principles and standards locally and regionally. Dr. Rabeh is frequently quoted in such internationally circulated publications. He has been a featured speaker and interviewee on the major television networks as well as the business broadcasts. Dr. Rabeh has spoken widely on these topics and consults regularly with the insurance industry, trade associations, investor groups, and regulators. His work has been reported widely in the media.

CEO-Health Policy & Strategy SectorMs Laila is the CEO of Health Policy and Strategy sector at Dubai Health Authority (DHA). She is responsible for the development of the policy and legislation for the health system in the Emirate of Dubai driven from Dubai Strategic Plan (DSP). Overseeing the implementation of the DHA Health strategy and conducting sector planning and forecasting. The sector will be involved in setting standards and policy for the healthcare across Dubai in incorporation with federal health policy framework. This to assure that Dubai develops a world class health system, high quality Public Health and healthcare service provision. Placing Dubai at the world health map is the main drivers for this sector. Having worked for the Dubai Health Authority, she has extensive knowledge of the healthcare systems, Health reforms, strategic direction, planning and delivery of healthcare services. Prior to this she was the CEO of the Clinical Support Services Sector, responsible for management and direction of the Clinical Support Services across the DHA. Laila is a strategic focus person who is prior to this post was the Transition Director for DHA were she was leading the process of the health reform from Department of Health & Medical Services to Dubai Health Authority, prior to which she was responsible for overseeing the development of the Dubai Health Authority new heath funding model and its economic future

Head Center of Competence for Retakaful and Former Chief Executive Officer of Munich Re RetakafulLudwig Stiftl, born in Germany in 1964, studied business administration and oriental languages, most prominently Arabic, in Munich. After a diploma thesis on Islamic Banking in Egypt, he did

In December 2010, Lubna Qassim was appointed Director of the Department of Economic Legislation
as federal economic legislations. She has also headed the Legal and Regulatory Affairs Department, and is former Executive Director at the Dubai Economic Council. She has worked on comprehensive
as the Foreign Investment Law, Companies Law, Labor Law and Competition Law. She has also advocated on legal policies and legislation related to entrepreneurship. Earlier, she worked for the world‘s most prestigious law firm, Clifford Chance, in the corporate and commercial department of

Mr. Mohamed Abdel Aziz is the Assistant Deputy Minister, Egyptian Ministry of Finance. Prasanna Seshachellam leads the team responsible for the prudential supervision of a number of Authorised Firms, with primary focus on Firms operating in banking and insurance sector. Prasanna also plays a leading role in many of the critical projects aimed to enhance the supervision framework of the DFSA. Prasanna has over eighteen years of experience in the financial services sector which includes eight years of regulatory experience. Prior to his current role at the DFSA, Prasanna was with Office of Superintendant of Financial Institutions Canada (OSFI Canada) as a Senior Supervisor overseeing a portfolio of banks and other lending institutions. Before entering the regulatory world, he worked in many segments of the financial services industry including investment banking, equity research, asset management, corporate credit, credit rating, risk management, fund administration and trade operations for ETFs.
