I wish you all a very happy Akshaya Tritiya, Rama Navami and Hanuman Jayanti. April has more in store. It is the month when few states like Kerala, Orissa, Punjab, Tamil Nadu, Bengal celebrate New Year.

Like always, we begin this edition with a glimpse of Akshaya Tritiya and its significance. Akshaya Tritiya is observed on the third lunar day in the bright half of the month of Vaishaka. In 2020, Tritiya begins at 11.53 am on April 25, 2020 and extends till 13.23 on April 26. Akshaya Tritiya is that day of the year where all the 6 groups of energies in the world

coincide and their amplitude is almost NIL. It is one of the most favourable day to carry out as many auspicious events as possible.

Kathir Subbiah popularly known for his predictions shares his perspective on what lies ahead in times of Coronavirus. In view of the series of events around Coronavirus that took place, beginning December 2019 till date, I have written an in-depth analysis from an Astrological perspective. The conjunction and war of Jupiter and Ketu has become more dreadful, only the context and style is different. Non-living instruments like bombs and guns are replaced by living organisms. Akshaya Tritiya : Welcoming Prosperity

We all know that the world is always in motion - motion of the living organisms, non-living organisms, earth, solar system, galaxy and the universe. Each motion results in an energy wave and there will be billions and billions of such energy waves getting produced. largely, we classify these energies into 6 groups based on the energy frequency. The energy groups because of their varying frequencies intersect with each other. However, on every tritiya, these energies align with each other in such a manner that their amplitudes will coincide with one another. This powerful phenomenon occurs every month, and naturally we have 12 such incidents in a year. However, there are two tritiyas in a year where the amplitudes of the energies that coincide with each other is either at minimum or at maximum. During the tritiya that occurs in the month of Vaishaka, the amplitude is at minimum. And during the tritya that occurs in the month of Karthika, the energies are at the maximum.

Essentially, Akshaya Tritiya is that day of the year where the all the 6 groups of energies in the world coincide and their amplitude is almost Nil. This is a cosmic reset of kinetic energies and commonly referred to as punarpravarthanam (Samskritam – पुनर्प्रवर्तनं). During this reset, there is a natural opening for living organisms to hop on to a very positive wave. If one hops on to this wave, the wave itself will naturally push him/her in the desired path, and our efforts will be minimum. This is one of nature’s best gifts and our Vedic saints’ greatest discovery. If any activity is done during this time interval, there is a natural push that takes place to reach our goal with minimum or no effort.

Shukla Tritiya or the third lunar day during waxing moon is that period of time when the difference between the Sun and the Moon is anywhere between 24 degrees and 36 degrees. At the beginning of the Akshaya Tritiya, the Sun and the Moon will be in Ashwini and Krittika Nakshatra respectively. Ashwini is ruled by Ketu, a spiritual and inward looking graha. Ashwini also indicates speed and dynamism. Krittika is ruled by the Sun showing authority, leadership and dominance. Early Days

Sri Anjaneyalu was born into a Smartha family bearing the name “Tangirala”, of Apasthamba Sutra, Krishna Yajur Sakha, in Alugumallepadu village in Palnadu area of Guntur,Andhra Pradesh on the banks of river Naguleru. He was born onChaitra Shukla Shasti of the year Khara (the sixth day of the bright fortnight in the month of

Chaitra)to Sri Venkateshwara Avadhani and mother Smt. Ananthalakshmamma. The young boy evinced signs of keen devotion towards the Higher Energies in His childhood. His Brahmopadesha was performed when he was seven years of age. Sri Anjaneyalu was regular in the performance of the prescribed karmas of Sandhyavandanam three times a day, and Agnikaryam, twice a day. The young lad, in addition to schooling, spent time to study Sanskrit and also started taking Vedic lessons from his father, who himself was a Vedic scholar.

Influence of the Guru

In the year 1966, Sri Anjaneyalu approached the 35thJagadguru of the Sringeri Sharada Peetham Sri Abhinava Vidyatirtha Mahaswamiji at the age of 15, seeking Jagadguru’s blessings and tutelage in the sastras. The Jagadguru accepted the disciple and the lessons in the Tarka sastras commenced. The Acharya also kept a close watch over the progress of his ward.

(Following the directives given by the Government Authorities in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, the “Divya Saptati Mahotsava” that was scheduled from March 25 to April 8, 2020 is being postponed to a later date, which is yet unscheduled.)



Embracing Sanyasa

Sri Abhinava Vidyatirtha Mahaswamiji announced his desire to appoint the Seetharama Anjaneyalu as the successor-designate (as the 36th Jagadguru Acharya) and give him Sanyasa. The Shishya Sweekaram ceremony took place on the 11thday of November, 1974 and Sri Anjaneyalu received the saffron robes, the sacred staff and the kamandalu (water pot) from the acharya. The newly initiated

sanyasi was given the Yogapatta Sri Bharati Teertha in line with the Dashanami Sampradaya of Shri Adishankaracharya.

Reign as Jagadguru

Sri Bharati Teertha Mahaswamiji has deep knowledge of shastras like Vedanta, Mimamsa, Tarka, Nyaya, Vyakarana amongst others. He has had His studies in the Yajur Veda in Sadvidya Sanjivini Pathasala prior to taking up Sanyasa. The devotees of the Sringeri Sharada Peetham pay frequent visits to the Mutt seeking guidance and blessings of the Acharya. Eminent people like Prime Minister Sri Narendra Modi and former President Late Abdul Kalam have visited and sought the blessings and guidance of the Acharya. Maha Swamiji is familiar with and delivers benedictory addresses in Sanskrit, Kannada, Telugu, Tamil and Hindi. Maha Sannidanam has undertaken Vijaya Yatras (tours) to different places within India. In the year 2017 the Acharya had His Vijaya Yatras in the states of Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Karnataka.

The Jagadguru is assisted by Sri V. R. Gowrishankar as the CEO and Administrator of the Sringeri Sharada Peetham. The sacred Mutt has undertaken activities in the field of education and social service in addition to being a seat of great Vedic learning.

Appointment of the SuccessorSri Bharati Teertha Mahaswamiji has appointed Sri Kuppa Venkateshwara Prasada Sharma as Hissuccessor designate, the 37th Jagadguru of the Sringeri Sharada Peetham on 23 January 2015 with the monastic name) Sri Vidhusekhara Bharati Mahaswami. Alas, it is a much more complicated house than most astrologers will admit as it is 6th from the 6th house and can cause health

problems and it is connected to groups, associations and our karma with them, which is not always pleasant.

In Part 1 of this article, we will discuss the much over-looked connection of the 11th house to groups, society and community and in Part 2, we will discuss what the 11th house reveals about one’s income and

the ability to fulfill desires.

EXPRESSING OUR TALENTS IN THE WORLD

#1: The 11th house is the house of friends and associations

The 11th house is the house of friends and associations and it is opposite the 5th house indicating who we like to play and do recreation with.

It is the playground where we venture out into society and sometimes a place where we want to change the world. It is connected with the natural 11th sign of the zodiac Aquarius, where social action seeks to move out of the ambitious 10th house and move into the world to effect change for the betterment of society. For those who work with groups, it is not an easy place as our behavior becomes critical and vulnerable to the opinions of others and of how one is seen. Creativity of the 5th house is tested here as we express who we are and have society judge it. As we move toward humanity, we hope our creativity and our dreams will come true to create benevolent changes. That means



the 11th house is connected to community and how we bond together with others to create something bigger and support the collective.

#2: The 11th house is about our highest ambitions for the world, including wanting to make a difference in society

It reflects our ability to take the talents, status and ambitions of the 10th house and move it out into our community and effect change. If we have some success in our life, we naturally want to help those around us. The great philanthropists like Andrew Carnegie and Alfred Nobel did this. At some point, we have to realize that if we have a lot of money and we do not share it with others, then we are missing the point.

The 11th house forces us into the world to express our gifts for the benefit

of mankind. My spiritual teacher was fond of saying that if we are given money

in our life, it is meant to be shared with your

community and the world, not for hoarding.

11th house is connected to community and how we bond together with others to create something bigger and support the collective.

#3: The 11th house is the placement of dreams and fulfillment of desires

If it is connected to Jupiter or

Pisces, a strong Sun or with Leo, it can be filled with great hope, optimism, faith, ambition, and triumph. Transits through the 11th house bring fulfillment of desires and joy - this is why it is so cherished.

#4: The 11th house is not a picnic place

The 11th house is not a picnic place, as many astrologers might describe it as it is connected to the natural complex 11th zodiacal sign of Aquarius which in Vedic astrology is co-owned by Rahu and Saturn and in Western astrology has a connection to Uranus. Rahu by nature creates deep desires which are often illusive like chasing a carrot on a stick and Saturn brings deep karmic surprises Aquarius anywhere in the chart is often connected to deep karmic suffering.

#5: The 11th house can bring challenges and health issues

There is a hidden quality to the 11th house because it is 6th from the 6th in that it can bring challenges and health issues. These may arise out of complex seething anger and failed interactions with groups. When the group disapproves, we can be cast into a deep funk like an oddball Rahu character judged by the Saturnian community crowd and hence there are some underlying time-bombs hidden in the 11th house in our ability to express our talents in society. If judged poorly we can be sent down a black hole. Social rejection can bring deep suffering of our creativity from the 5th house sitting opposite the 11th house. I remember Saturn

going through my 11th house a few years back and doing some pioneering humanitarian outreach in my community only to have the snipers and vultures come in and tear my achievement down out of jealousy. There are hidden perils in this house.

The 11th house is not always the picnic that is

often painted to be.

#6: There can be “Weltsmertz” here or suffering for the pain of the world.

We may seek to benefit and help society as we become more sensitive here, but local politics may drag us down to earth and create suffering in the end that may breakout into illness. I remember that I became very sick after years of politics in my spiritual organization. The 11th house is not always the picnic that is often painted to be.

We may suffer in this house, but such anguish increases our sensitivity to the distresses of others. Experiences here inspire us to dream of a better world. We are put to the test in the 11th house whether we can take our ambitions of the 10th house and realize our dreams for a better society or be cast out and rejected. We are deeply tested here in whether we can change socially or be taken down by competitive political wolves who are more interested in their self-glorification than really helping society.

Major transits of the more mature outer planets through our 11th house like Jupiter or



Saturn or the outer planets Neptune, Uranus or Rahu may trigger a longer stint at changing society and getting into the political ring or making a social difference. Jupiter will support community growth and progressive change, but Saturn will create a long arduous journey of hard work and battling to create a better world. Neptune will give us utopian visions and ideals that may not be possible - Uranus and Rahu will give more a revolutionary tendency and grassroots outreach to inspire us to create a new society against one that is not working. In a sense, one of the secrets of the 11th house and its natural connection to Rahu through Aquarius is to change the stale and worn-out elements of society. In a sense, it is an outlaw toward conservatism which is often so much a part of Saturn and Capricorn.

Neptune wants an ideal society but as we know, Utopia means “no-place” and so our hopes and dreams for a better future become a huge battle against the conservative forces that resist change. Jupiter’s liberal values may also be too unreal if Jupiter is afflicted or the 11th house afflicted. The 11th house is an important place to move into society and our community to express our talents. It may be a difficult fight but it is part of our purpose on the planet.

We can learn so much by looking at nature and ant and bee colonies and the wonderful way they work together for the whole. The 11th house draws us into moving outside of ourselves and doing something bigger for the

planet. Do we heed the call or are we taken down by the political forces surrounded us.

If your 11th house is strong then you have a good chance to make a difference and it is one worth doing. Given the Rahu self-centered, greedy and corrupt world that has been developing over the past 30-40 years, we have our work cut out for us - but go out and make a difference. Take on the call of the 11th house to create a better world.

Jan 13 A death outside China was reported in Taiwan. Making it clear that the virus is a global health emergency and needed immediate attention from WHO and cooperation from other parts of globe.

Mid- Jan Cases reported in different part of Japan, Taiwan, Thailand showing the same symptoms. Most of the people have travelled to Wuhan, concluding the spread of COVID- 19 in other south-east countries.

Jan 26 New cases of COVID-19 confirmed in the US and South Korea.

Jan 30 india and philippines confirmed their first cases of Corona virus.

Jan 31 UK, Russia, Spain, Sweden joined the toll, and reported their first cases of people affected by COVID-19.

Feb 2 The first case of Philippines was left fatal, declaring the first death outside China.

Feb 5 WHO Declared no effective treatment for Corona; Death toll increases to 497 within mainland China.

Feb 7 Dr. Li from China reported this to the Chinese Government about the disease outbreak, concluding this as infectious and fatal.

November 2017 – Saturn’s entry to Sagittarius

Way back in November 2017, Saturn (or Shani), a first rate malefic moved into Sagittarius, the house of Jupiter (or Guru). While Jupiter and Saturn don’t share a great relationship, they have also stayed away from each other. They rarely interfere in each other’s business and thus their hate for each other rarely turns into a fight. However, there are two houses where they end up fighting.

1) The first zodiac is Capricorn where Jupiter turns evil and tries to destroy that sign which belongs to Saturn,

2) And the second one is Sagittarius where Saturn turns evil and spoils the sign of Jupiter. This time of the year, it is Saturn’s turn to ruin the house of Jupiter.

November of 2017 saw Saturn move through the house of Jupiter. He is strong and he begins his evil attack. Slowly and steadily, he starts breaking the different parts of the house and causes tensions.

Characteristics of Sagittarius

Sagittarius, the sign under attack, is a very dreaded sign. It is often depicted as animal that is half human and half horse. The upper part of the animal takes the human form and the lower part takes the form of the horse. So, this hybrid animal has two human hands and four legs of a horse. The animal is also seen carrying a bow and arrow, in an attacking position, and denotes a war-like situation. The zodiac, when negatively active can bring in tensions, distress, hatred, anger and aggressiveness. Journey of Jupiter to Sagittarius

• By March of 2019, he enters his house i.e. Sagittarius, desperately trying to save it from Saturn. Saturn notices Jupiter’s movement and becomes cautious. He acts as if nothing is happening. Jupiter is trying to estimate the extent of damage that has been caused. Suddenly a series of unfortunate events take place.

• in May of 2019, Jupiter become retrograde and slowly moves back to Scorpio to fulfill his unfinished business in Scorpio.

Journey of Ketu to Sagittarius

Meanwhile another heavenly planet Ketu starts approaching Sagittarius. Ketu is a chayagraha or a showdown planet and is the biggest rival of the Jupiter. Its natural motion is to move in a reverse



direction and when in the house of Jupiter, spares no effort to ruin the sign.

• In April of 2019, Ketu moves into Sagittarius, the house of its enemy. Ketu notices that evil Saturn has already started ruining the house. It is excited. It joins Saturn. Together, both Saturn and Ketu join forces and one by one break the different parts of the house. Jupiter notices this. He changes his gears. He stops his retrogression and goes back to normal motion. Jupiter is moving desperately trying to protect his house. He is now in an accelerated motion.

• As Ketu enters Sagittarius in the November of 2019, the house is almost collapsing. Jupiter takes stock of things. He gets angry. He is wild. He is fuming. Saturn becomes quiet but Ketu continues to ruin the house.

Jupiter moves closer to Ketu. interestingly, the Sun and Mercury have also reached Sagittarius. The big war between Jupiter and Ketu begin. Unlike other planetary wars, the war between Jupiter and Ketu is the most dreaded.

Here’s why. During the war, the two planets not only hurt each other but they also destroy everything around it – property, lives, wealth etc. The last time when the two planets were in war was in July 2012. The planets entered a war in the sign of Taurus, owned by Venus. We all know about the 1000 plus lives that were lost through terror activities across the world. 2020: The Dreaded War of Jupiter and Ketu

This conjunction and war of Jupiter and Ketu repeats this year, but the context and style is different. Non-living instruments like weapons, bombs and guns are replaced by living organisms. The deadly coronavirus attacks and destroys lives and wealth. Quietly it affects the human immune system. Some humans survive but the weak succumb and die. The fight between Ketu and Jupiter is so strong that epidemic grows to become a pandemic. Lives are lost. As I write this article, it is unfortunate that about 180,000 cases of coronavirus patients out of which

7000 are dead. It is also interesting to analyze the spread of the virus.

The Spread of Wuhan

The first case of the virus started in Wuhan. If we take Ujjaini as the center, Wuhan is to the East of Ujjaini. Sagittarius is East. Also notice the difference between the coordinates of Wuhan and Ujjaini. Wuhan’s coordinate is 30.6N and 114.31E. Ujjaini’s coordinate is 23.18N and 75.8E. Essentially, the longitudinal difference between the two places is about 40 degrees. Look at the difference between the latitudinal values of Ketu and Jupiter. It is about 0.09 degrees which interestingly corresponds to 40.5 degrees east ward and 8 degrees northward of Ujjaini. Isn’t this mind blowing? The nakshatra where the war began was Purvashada which is a Savya in nature i.e. clockwise direction. The spread of the virus was in a clockwise direction. it started in China, spread to the USA and then moved to Europe, Africa and Middle East Asia in that order. is this also a coincidence? Certainly not.

What happens after March 2020?

This spread of the virus increases till March 15, 2020 after which Jupiter moves to a different sign. The cure for Coronavirus will not be found immediately thanks to Jupiter’s anger. While the spread might curtail, the cure is a long way to go. Evil Jupiter is not going to allow this to happen easily. He continues to be angry. While Jupiter has taken its vengeance with Ketu, the planet is not yet satiated. He next follows Saturn into his own house, Capricorn. Jupiter is moving at a fast pace and he becomes more and more evil. Now, it is his time for Jupiter to ruin the house of Saturn. Jupiter starts destroying the house of Saturn at rapid pace. On April 15, 2020 Saturn and Jupiter are in exact conjunction and the war between them will have reached its peak.

This time, the war will affect the things shown by Saturn.

I will now analyze the boy’s chart using Shri R.G. Rao’s Naadi Astrology principles.

In this given male chart, Guru is the Jiva Karaka placed in Simha Rashi and Shukra, the Karaka for Patni is placed in 11th house from Guru and thus marriage is promised at a proper age.

Shukra is placed in Mithuna Rashi along with Surya and Ketu. These 3 planets are placed in a Rashi whose lord Budha is 2nd to them in Karkataka Rashi which means Budha influences the planets in Mithuna Rashi. Now Budha influences the Jiva Karaka Guru as he is placed in 2nd to Budha. Thus Guru, Budha, Surya, Shukra, and Ketu are involved. Now as Budha is placed alone in Karkataka Rashi, he indicates a female. Now Budha is also the Karaka for education followed by Shukra, the Karaka for higher education or as we say particularly leads to post-graduation.

Surya being the intimate friend of Budha has helped him to secure a good education on Computer science.

Now the Karaka for education, Budha is in Karkataka Rashi whose Lord Chandra is in Mesha Rashi along with Kuja who is the lord of Mesha Rashi itself. Chandra is the Karaka for movement and Kuja for machinery. So, both Shani and Rahu will have an impact on the planets in Mithuna Rashi i.e. Surya + Shukra + Ketu. Now Rahu indicates foreign country and as Budha influences Retrograde Shani who takes his effects to Rahu in Dhanu Rashi and carries the aspect to the planets in Mithuna Rashi. As



Shani(R) + Rahu are in Dhanu Rashi which is an eastern directional sign, the boy went to Australia for higher education which is South-East of his birthplace i.e. Gujarat.

As Shukra is in 14 degrees longitude in Mithuna Rashi which is very strong, the affair is so deep and both of them decided to marry.

But now the question may arise why South East as Dhanu Rashi indicates East. Here we are considering Shani (R) who is placed in South directional sign but he will give 50% results from his previous Rashi i.e. Dhanu Rashi. So, it has to be South-East foreign country (Australia). Now for higher studies, Shukra has to be considered who is placed in Mithuna Rashi lorded by Budha. Now there is Ketu also in Mithuna Rashi. He is in 6 Degrees of longitude.

What is Ketu’s influence during the boy’s higher studies? We must bear in mind that Ketu is a slow-moving shadowy planet and he influences slowly Surya and Shukra there in Mithuna Rashi. It is very clear that 1st Shukra has crossed Ketu and then Surya has crossed Ketu when the boy took birth. Shukra has gone to 14 degrees and Surya has gone to 10 degrees 40’ in Mithuna Rashi. So Shukra has got the maximum influence of Ketu. As we know that Shukra is a female planet which indicates Patni Karaka also placed in Budha’s own house of Mithuna Rashi and also Budha is placed in 2nd to Ketu + Surya + Shukra

in Mithuna Rashi. As a result of the maximum influence of Ketu over Shukra, during his higher studies, he came into contact with a Christian religion girl (indicated by Ketu). As Shukra is in 14 degrees longitude in Mithuna Rashi which is very strong, the affair is so deep and both of them decided to marry.

The parents of the boy tried all methods to cancel this affair but the boy was firm (Surya indicates firmness) as the planet indicating friendship, Budha’s house is occupied by Surya + Shukra which is placed strongly in Mithuna Rashi, the boy was very firm in marrying the girl. Finally, the engagement took place on 8th April 2018. The marriage was fixed on the 16th of January 2019. I was not involved in deciding the date.

Ketu is a slow-moving shadowy planet and he influences slowly Surya and Shukra there in Mithuna Rashi.

Now, let me try to explain about fixing of marriage. The parents of the boy after consulting with the parents of the girl decided the above date of marriage. As we know that in a male chart, Shukra indicates Patni Karaka and is placed in Mithuna Rashi, a dwiswabhava Rashi. So as per my knowledge, the marriage will take place twice i.e. one as per Hindu tradition and 2nd as per Christian tradition. As per Naadi Astrology, Shani decides 1st by aspecting or through transit over natal Shukra. Here Shani is transiting over Dhanu Rashi.

At the time of engagement, Shani was transiting over Dhanu Rashi and retrograde Guru was transiting over Tula Rashi aspecting Shukra + Ketu indicating marriage will take place. At this time transit Ketu was in Makara Rashi. But recently I posted an article about marriage and Ketu’s importance in marital knots. So, on 16th of January, transit Shani will be in Dhanu Rashi along with Guru also there. If we look at the longitudes, Guru will just cross the longitude of natal Shukra and Shani is about to enter Makara Rashi. Now the important planet for wedlock is transit Ketu who will also be in Dhanu at a longitude of 13 degrees (Its aspect just crossing from natal Shukra). So, this confirms the marriage will take place on the 16th of January 2020 as promised by transit Shani + Guru + Ketu and the marriage took place on 16th January 2020 at Gwalior.

Example Chart-2: A case of extramarital affair for the male

Here is another chart of love marriage with an extramarital affair.

As per Naadi Astrology, Guru is Jiva Karaka, Shukra is Patni Karaka, Budha/Chandra becomes lover depending on situations. Shukra is always 1st wife. Now let me illustrate a chart where a male native marries his lover and then he starts another extramarital love affair. This seems to be somewhat absurd but in some cases, this happens.



In the chart, Guru, the Jiva Karaka is in Meena Rashi/Pisces sign and Shukra with Shani in 4th house (Kendra) in Mithuna Rashi. Here both Karma Karaka Shani and Patni Karaka Shukra are together in Mithuna Rashi indicating he will have 2 wives. The sign dispositor of both Shukra and Shani is Budha who is in Vrishabha Rashi/Taurus sign along with Ketu. Now let us see how the Karma Karaka Shani’s play in this life. Look at the longitude of Shukra which is Mithuna 2 Degrees 35’ and Budha in Vrishabha 9 Degrees 45’ and Ketu in Vrishabha 8 Degrees 26’.

Guru, the Jiva Karaka in northern direction and Budha are in southern direction, so both aspect each other. This means the native starts a love affair with a female native for some time. But the sign dispositor of Budha is Shukra who is in the next house of Mithuna Rashi along with Karma Karaka Shani.

So, Karma Karaka Shani says this is your past life Karma to get this female native to marry and the parivartana takes place between Budha and Shukra. Now Shukra will be in direct aspect with Jiva Karaka Guru, so the native marries this female native. Now look at the longitude of Shukra who came to his own house due to Parivarthana and it is 2 Degrees 35’. Here one thing we must make a note that Surya’s exact exaltation point is 10 Degrees and he has crossed it and he is in the zone of Shani’s debilitation (10 Degrees 1’ to 20 Degrees). So we can easily confirm that Surya is not exalted or powerful and is going to enter Vrishabha Rashi and meet exchanged Shukra 1st.

Surya is putra Karaka as per Naadi Astrology and is a Agni Tatwa planet and he is going to meet Shukra, a Jala Tatwa planet, so Surya’s energy becomes diluted and so the native may not get any child from this lover turned wife.

In this article, I would like to take some Catholic Religious Leaders (Pope) and see how the Solar and Lunar Eclipses have impacted their physical life and led to their death. The Pope also known as the Pontiff, is the Bishop of Rome, a leader of the worldwide Catholic Church. I am giving below some combinations from Jaimini Atma Karaka and Rahu/Ketu (nodes) transits and illustrated with some of the 21st Century Pope’s birth charts.

There is so much going on about coronavirus. We can see which planets are responsible for causing this problem, when we will get the right medicine or vaccine for this virus and when we will get over this completely.

In the second half of Dec 2019, about 41 people developed pneumonia like symptoms without a clear cause. It was actually due to Coronavirus as per Chinese Doctor Li Wenliang. Doctor Li is a 33-year-old ophthalmologist based in Wuhan city, in China, gave early warnings about this new novel virus on Dec 30, 2019. Unfortunately, this news was suppressed and ignored by Chinese media and government. Unfortunately Li Wenliang passed away on Feb 7, 2020, at 2.58 am China local time.

As of today March 14, 2020, more than 154,000 people got affected with COVID-19.

There is no vaccine or treatment available for virus currently.

Now we can analyze which planets are responsible for the root cause of Virus. As per my predictions, Ketu is solely responsible. Ketu made conjunction with Sun, Moon, Jupiter, Saturn and Mercury on Thursday Dec 26, 2019. Moon was transiting on this day, that is Dec 26, 2019 in Moola Nakshatra. Currently Ketu is in strong position on its own star of Moola Nakshatra in Dhanus rasi.

In the Kannada language, there is a saying ‘22 ralli kalithiddu, 72 ra thanaka’, which means, ‘What one learns at the age of 22 years of age will last until 72 years of age in one’s life.’

The Karana is the half of the Tithi. They are mainly classified as Sthira - fixed or immovable and Chara or moveable. The Chara Karanas are seven in number and the Sthira are only four. The fixed ones are inauspicious. They are Sakuni, Chatushpada, Naga and Kimsatugna. The seven movable Karanas are in their order, Bava, Baalava, Kaulava, Taitila, Gara, Vanija and Vishti (or Bhadra.) Among the movable Karanas Vishti or Bhadra is considered to be of dreadful. The forbidden Karanas are marked in red for easy identification.

We have most of our religious observances pegged on to the Tithis. Pournamipooja Chandradarisana, Sankataharachaturthi Vrata, Shastivrata, Ekadasi Vrata and Pradosha are specially mentioned in the Panchanga. Pournamipooja is done in the evenings on days the full Moon is prevalent. Chandradarisana is observed on the evening on the day when the crescent Moon appears for the first time in the west after the Amavasya. Chaturthi of the Krishnapaksha or Bahula Chaturthi of every month is known as Sankataharachaturthi. The evenings of Sukla and Krishna Trayodasi days are specially observed as Pradosha Vrata days.

As Astrologers, while counselling the youth, Dasha and Bhukthis that are at play at 19-22 years of age are very important to consider. Analysing these Dashas and Bhuktis may give clues to the future and based on that effective counselling may be given. I want to share a few thoughts and suggestions for fellow Astrologers on how to deal with today’s youth.

#1: Provide a value system that lasts long

As Astrologers, while doing youth counselling, don’t offer scripts to follow. Instead, offer

such a value system that can suit to any script that life offers to them at any stage of their life. There lies the strength of Astrological counselling, which requires Astrologers to have a fair degree of knowledge of youth mentality and everything around them, along with very good knowledge of astrology.

#2: Upgrade along with the technology advancements

Astrologers must and should know the problems of today’s youth who comprise a major portion of the population. They should know that youth are bombarded with information from mainstream media like TV, print media etc. along with social media platforms.

Today’s youth don’t need philosophers in Astrologers. Instead, they need elderly, experienced and friendly counsellors for which the Astrologer himself/herself needs to get training and upgrade himself/herself to technology.

#3: Guidance about a healthy mind and body

Today’s youth are very ambitious but unfortunately, they don’t have the required physical and mental energy levels to support them to realize their ambitions even to 50% level. So, naturally, they are disappointed which leads to a very serious level of dissatisfaction among youth.

Here, Astrologers need to be experts in identifying the original talent that horoscope or palm indicates and counsel the young visitors accordingly. Secondly, guide them about proper food habits that will give them the energy required to nurture the ambition along

with original talent. Astrologers should learn to counsel the youth on good food consumption for good energy based on the youth’s horoscope. Therefore, Astrologers need to have knowledge of food and planets, food and nakshatras, and food and rashis. They need to upgrade on these subjects because our youth deserve to be guided about their innate talents and how best they can use them with the right healthy habits.

#4: Encourage to inculcate hobbies

Youth are subjected to information bombardment and in the process, they are absorbing a lot as input, but unfortunately, they don’t have the necessary output channels in any healthy form. All that they have absorbed as input becomes “pent-up stock” without an outlet which disturbs them leading to psychological disorders and depression. Many youths are struggling with their pent-up information energies, for which they need a healthy outlet in the form of “constructive hobby” which will help them maintain a healthy balance - physically and emotionally. Therefore, Astrologers need to firstly, understand the temperament of youth and have enough knowledge about various hobbies and activities to recommend to youth, based on their horoscope.

Of course, religious remedies that come from the horoscope are also available everywhere.

Today’s Astrologer needs to upgrade himself on the Loukika paraiharas or non-religious remedies or social remedies for the benefit of youth which will eventually help in community building and nation-building.
