Question I: Will the authority refuel equipment at the end of the rental? It is an industry standard for equipment to deliveredwith a full tank of fuel and refueled by the lessee?

NYC Transit attempts to refuel or the Contractor is able to charge for the fuel. Answer I:

Question 2: After equipment is called off rent, will NYC Transit secure the equipment until is picked up by the Contractor?

Answer 2: NYC Transit removes the key and will put safety bunting around the equipment if it is on the street.

Question 3: Will NYC Transit be responsible for theft or damage to equipment while in its possession?

Answer 3: See Article 107 in the Specific Contract Provisions.

While the equipment is not in use, will NYC Transit store the equipment in a fenced, secured or monitoredarea? Question 4:

Answer 4: NYC Transit attempts to move the equipment on to NYC Transit locations, but there are times the equipmentmust remain at a work location.

In regards 10 the page, titled "Damages" of the Technical Specification, would you confirm if the 48 hours will exclude weekends and NYCT observed holidays? This would align with the "5 business days" requirement mentioned later in the same paragraph.
