Phil Richards has designed pre – season as well as in season programs for

premiership rugby, premiership soccer, county cricket, super league as well as

designing training schedules for professional boxing, UFC, athletics, strongman,

running, triathlons, golf as well as rehabilitation programs for just about every

injury an athlete can get.

Phil has designed thousands of programs over many years with his unique

knowledge on this subject come and learn from a true expert and not the latest

idiot proclaiming to be the next guru who still hasn’t served his time in the

trenches and more importantly hasn’t got RESULTS!!! 

This 2 day course will teach you how to plan your client/athlete’s training

schedule which is of absolute importance if you are to achieve the desired results

for optimizing performance in the minimum amount of time. You will be taught

how to plan the daily, weekly & monthly training schedule’s which will

significantly enhance your chances of peak performance for your client/athlete.

Day 1

09.30 Registration

10.00 Introduction to the fundamentals of program design from daily, weekly &

monthly training schedules to understanding volume, frequency, intensity and

recovery.

11.30 Break

12.00 Case Study 1 = Planning an 8 week training/nutrition program for maximum

fat loss and muscle gain. This alone is worth the course fee Phil will share with

you his unique knowledge of getting unbelievable fat loss results whilst not living

like a monk.

13.30 Lunch

14.45 Case Study 2 = Planning an 8 week training/nutrition program for a fighter

this requires meticulous planning or you will significantly reduce any chances of 

winning come fight night.

16.15 Break

16.45 Analyzing case study 1 & 2 and making sure we have fully understood how

to design a program for fat loss, for a fighter and any questions you may have on

these topics.

Day 2

09.30 Case Study 3 = Planning an 8 week pre season plan for Rugby. This will

include pre – season games after week 5 and peaking the team for the start of the

season, on week 8.

11.30 Case Study 4 = Planning a 12 week program for a marathon runner who

wants to run a PB.

13.00 Lunch

14.15 Case Study 5 = Planning an 8 week training/nutrition program for a

client/athlete coming back from a serious knee injury.

15.45 Break

16.15 Going over case study 4 & 5 and making sure we have fully understood how

to peak a runner for running a PB and how to rehabilitate an athlete back from a

serious knee injury.

17.00 Exam

18.00 Course Finish and certificate’s awarded to all those who pass the course.
