The f i r s t camp, a t R o m i l l y , not f a r f rom Rouen, was

i n c l emen t weather c o u l d be endured bu t n o t t h e s n o r i n g

n e o e s s i t a t i n g i a change o f accommodat ion.

A f t e r a d a y ' s c y l i n g a l o n g t h e v a l l e y o f t h e Se ine

a 1 6 t h c e n t u r y farmhouse , comple te w i t h t e l e v i s i o n , was

approached - where a s i t e was found - b u t beware o f t h e
